It amazes me how surprised LeBron gets when a ref calls him for a foul. It is completely embarrassing for everybody watching the game because it is so rediculous most of the time. I absolutely loved Rush's huge block on LeBron's layup, plus Rush definitely deserves the praise for guarding LeBron so good tonight. I was very impressed with Price once again and I wish some of his missed 3's would have went all the way down as he never missed a shot by much--they were all just down-and-out shots, including his 3/4-court heave. I really liked watching the game with Hibbert, Rush, Price, etc in there and I don't know why they don't play the majority of the minutes as they are, imo, our top players, even over the veterans. I'm glad Murphy is finally finding a small rhythm to his game, but that doesn't matter too much by now. I'm glad that the team at least fought back after Cleveland went on their huge run to start the 3rd quarter. I believe that if Granger had played, we would have wound up with the victory. I'm pretty happy right now about Rush's play as he was excellent tonight on both ends of the court.

He had to make the bump too because Rush was about to blow past him coming off the screen. Talk about slowing a player down, let me give you a 250 lbs shoulder.
We are probably thinking about two different plays. The one I am remembering, LeBron extended his right arm and gave Brandon a little push as he was coming around a screen.

The zebras miss that kind of thing a lot...especially when it involves a vet and/or star.

He learned the mock surprise look from Kobe.

The funny thing is, I'm pleased with Rush's play too, but...I don't think it was as different from the norm as some of you do. I guess he attacked the basket a bit more and when he defends someone of LeBron's caliber his skills pop out at you more, but he's been playing pretty well since the All-Star break.

Also, tonight he was well below his usual for rebounds and way above for turnovers. The steals, blocks and 4th quarter scoring were nice though.

Lebron gets a ridiculous amount of calls in his favor..he takes "superstar calls" to a whole new level.

Yes he has been playing extremely well for a while now, but I guess it is the fact that it was against THE LeBron James that he did good against on both ends of the court that got some people's attention. I just really really really hope we do not trade Rush in that Charlotte deal this offseason if it is indeed revisited.

JOB with a little (verbal) love for the young guys in the post-game presser: http://www.nba.com/pacers/news/game_100317.html

“They knew we were calling their number a lot. And, they have confidence in their ability to score and the more their confidence builds, the better NBA players they will be. It’s good to have young guys that are constantly improving.” -- O'Brien on Hibbert, Rush and Price

Also, Brandon talking as if he's going to be a part of the youth movement going forward:

“We’re going to be playing together for the next couple of years, and it’s definitely a good sign that we played pretty well against a great team. A.J. (Price) played good and Roy (Hibbert) played good, so it’s definitely a good look for us in the future.” -- Rush

Nothing warms my heart more than statements like that one from Rush.
