On a game note, I thought AJ clearly outplayed Augustine tonight. Something to consider when/if the deadline trade gets revisited.

Henderson looked decent driving to the basket against Dunleavy, but it's really hard to tell anything from that match up, to me, not Mike's strength keeping athletic/quick guys out of the paint.
I was impressed with A.J. tonight for sure. I haven't checked a box score yet, but form what I saw he played pretty well. And personally, in the Pacers/Bobcats trade, I'd rather keep what we have instead of trading for Augustin/Henderson as from what I've seen from all the Pacers/Bobcats games this season, I'd rather keep Ford and Rush as I don't think we'd be bettering ourselves at all. Price, imo, is already a better player than Augustin and Rush will always be ahead of Augustin and Henderson COMBINED. Maybe it's just me, but I haven't put much into D.J. being a great PG someday. The only positive I can see in doing that trade with Charlotte is getting rid of T.J.'s contract, but I think it's at too high of a price to lose Rush in the deal to only get D.J./Gerald/and an expiring contract.

Lets face it, Rush didn't looked that great either. It was one of those blahzay type games. It was a win, but that's it.

they should just sit the guy for the rest of the season, there is not reason to play him anymore, the knee, the tendon and now this? sit the guy.

That was my exact thought last night while watching how Danny was. This season is an absolute bust, so why take a chance on causing your best player any problems the rest of the season. Just let him do R&R the last 15 games, and be at his best next year when it means something.

You left out the expiring is a good b/u center is a decent center who isn't constantly injured. He also plays the pick n roll well. Plus it gets rid of Ford where either Price or Augustine can be the starting PG. IIRC, Price is a good pick n roll PG to take advantage of Nazr. There are advantages if this trade is revisited, but then Charlotte could feel the trade isn't worth it to them.

I prefer trading this victory for the 4th pick instead of the 5th pick in the draft

I hate not being excited for my team to win. When you have a guy like Turner or Wall sitting there that can help expedite the rebuilding process significantly it is hard to be happy when each win makes it harder to get them.

It was nice to see AJ get some time and do well with that. I have given up all hope that we will just start our young guys, but at least TJ got hurt and AJ can steal time.

Granger just needs to be shut down. No reason for him to keep taking a pounding on the body. I only want to see Granger in street clothes for the rest of the season.
