Colts announce signing of Adam Terry
Posted by Mike Florio on March 15, 2010 10:26 AM ET
As expected, the Colts have announced the arrival of free-agent tackle Adam Terry, a restricted free agent who was not restricted in any way by his former team, the Ravens.

The addition of the six-foot, eight-inch, 335-pound Terry shows that the Colts indeed are looking to get larger on the offensive line, possibly in the hopes that said offensive line won't be outplayed in the future.

Terry, who has a smile that never, ever changes, ever, is the second new addition in Indy on the offensive line. Andy Alleman (six-four, 310) was signed last week, after starter Ryan Lilja (6-2, 290) unexpectedly was dumped.

Coincidentally, Terry has that same two-inch, 20-pound edge over Ryan Diem, the starter at right tackle for most of the last decade.

Holy cow, that dude is gonna need two locker stalls.
He has his own zip code.
When his coach tells him to haul *** he's gonna have to make two trips.
He's gonna have to enter LOS through the retractable roof.

hehe I got a million of 'em...

    Here's the best one though:

A defensive lineman would have to run a 1/4 mile to get around him to sack Peyton.

If the Colts plan is to get bigger on the O-line, I approve.

Well Polian threw them under the bus after the SB so if he's going to put that out there he might as well put his $$ where his mouth is

You had better hope he stays healthy. The guy has been injuried too much for me to get my hopes up. A step in the right direction but does he take Diem's postion or do we try him out at LT?

I'm all for improving run offense, but not at the expense of pass offense. I'd feel better if Mudd were still around.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

As long as he can create space to pick up a 3rd and 1, great signing.
