Ford Expected To Miss 7-10 Days

    Mar 14, 2010 6:44 PM EST

Pacers point guard T.J. Ford is expected to miss seven to 10 days with a sore left groin.

Indiana coach Jim O'Brien announced the timetable prior to Sunday's game against the Bucks.

Ford injured his groin in Friday's loss to the Celtics.

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

Yikes. I'm starting to feel bad for TJ. He's been such a good sport throughout all of this.

It will feel like 7-10 weeks though....
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

This has been one LONG, TRYING season. I love our Pacers though. I would love to live in Indy, so I could go to all the games. But oh well. I will make one early next season.

I want to see alot of Price.

Judging by the box score, the shooter could have been anyone!

MILWAUKEE -- The Indiana Pacers found another way to have a player go down with an injury.

Swingman Mike Dunleavy was a last-minute scratch from the lineup against the Milwaukee Bucks after he suffered a right eye contusion when he was hit by a ball during pregame warm-ups Sunday.

"I went in for a layup and somebody shot the ball and it came off the rim right into my eye," said Dunleavy, who looked like he had been in a fight after the game.
The Pacers say they're not sure of the severity of the injury.

"He saw (Milwaukee's) ophthalmologist and we're hoping it's nothing serious," Pacers coach Jim O'Brien said. "He was seeing a black spot out of his eye, so he was told he couldn't play."

I think it's kinda heartless and cold to be happy about an injury and to wish it was more severe so someone misses more time. This season has really gotten to you guys huh?

Just means TJ ford won't be ball hogging it if its a close game, and that means Granger will be taking the shots late in the 4th. Which is the way it should be.
