    McRoberts not touching the floor.
I don't care if Josh plays I would love to see him get over the 30 point mark in games closer than 10 points, and do something to actually deserve all the uproar he causes, But be careful what you wish for because extended time vs first units will expose him as a nothing and prove me and the few others here who dont sip the Mount Carmel Kool-Aid right.

Your right it would show the other teams they are going with youth, thus eliminating all possible value they might have for the vets striping the Pacers of any leverage they could have in getting any value in return.
Not with 15 games left in the season.

and you continuously keep missing the point about McRoberts.

It will if they have plans to move Troy this summer, and whats is the point of McRoberts he will be gone in a year and he can't play up the depth chart in the last few games, he's been lucky with all the people getting hurt to get the playing time he has.

No it won't, any other team in our position would be playing McBob and Soloe (and Hibbert) big minutes, in order to see what they have. Every GM will know that has nothing to do with Murphy's play.

And besides, Murphy's contract will be the most valuable thing about him, not his play.

And the point of McBob is simple. When he gets time, he usually does decently well..or at least well enough to not play DJones or Dunleavy at the PF position. We are a losing team, playing him only benifits us. Because either:
    A. he's pretty good, and we've got another young piece or
    B. he's not good, and we lose more, and we have a better chance at the lottery..and we'll know he's definitely not a piece of the core.

It's win win. There's no reason not to play him.

Just off the top of my head Mike Miller and T-mac back play and they are upcoming free agents and both play ahead of players who are better than a 3rd year 2nd round selection who would have no PT if the club was remotely healthy.

Josh has less than 30 points in games within 10 points so this "doing good" in garbage time is irrelevant, sorry but it honestly is you and I both can go out and play no defense and shoot open shots at the end of blowouts.

Its been 3 seasons, 2 clubs and no other teams are calling for his services how longer will it be before people realize what Josh is and thats a last guy on the bench?
