Very scary situation. I had 3 in 2 months when I was a teenager, and don't remember what happened in two of them. Hope Stuckey is okay.

ESPN reported he boarded the ambulance on a stretcher with his eyes closed and an oxygen mask covering his mouth.

They just said he was breathing on his own and his vitals are stable. They had one of those breathing bags on him when they took him off the court on a stretcher.

    Hopefully he'll be OK.

Man, that's terrible to hear. I hope he recovers quickly and gets back on the court. Was he playing while this happened?

I believe he's on the bench when it happened.

Seizures are so scary, I had a co-worker have one in front of me when I was younger. I didn't know what to do. Hope Rodney is ok!

Aww man, that sucks... really.. that is sad..

I know firsthand about siezures, as from the ages of 11 and 15 I had Epilepsy from a head injury in a U.S.J.A. Judo Nationals tournament at Caeser's Palace in Las Vegas....

I had 27 people in my division all competing for a Gold/Silver/Bronze ...Judo competitors from all over the world.
I fought 9 of them But I had won enough fits to have gotten 7th place out of 27 fighters, not too bad I guess for an 11 year old..

But ya ... anyways... on my last fight , I fought this kid who was from Korea, whom had trained in his multi-generational family's dojo... since he was 3 years old.. He was so lightning fast he threw me and i was on my back so fast I didn't know it happened..lol... A week later I was waking up in my bed to the Saturday Morning Cartoons on tv , and after a little while, I felt funny and it felt like my toes started curling and pulling my leg behind me while I was laying there..

    I then blacked out ... .....................

... I have memory flashes of waking briefly in the ambulance on the way to hospital , then I blacked out again, to awake in my hospital room.. I stayed in the hospital for a week and a half till after many many tests , they determined I had somewhat of a brain injury, and I got prescribed Dilantin... in which I had to take up to 9 of them EVERY DAY..!!!

Can you even possibly imagine how messed up I was in school..?? lol

A 12 year old on a crapload of barbituates.. ..

Siezures are pretty scary when they happen, especially when you feel that certain feeling in your body , when you absolutely KNOW something isn't right and you are about to have a siezure soon..

Luckily I had only 2 or 3 more siezures after that in that time period , before I finally stopped having them.. I was told it was due to the dilantin covering that part of my brain for s long , it put a coat of protection of sorts as it healed..

    .

    .
Sorry for the long-winded story , but I REALLY CAN relate to what Stucky is going through right now...

    Prayers goin out ...

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

luckily Stuckey didn't have a seizure like first reported.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slu...v=ap&type=lgns

Team sources told Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski that Stuckey didn’t have a seizure, as some initial reports suggested. “He was lightheaded and couldn’t get his bearings, but he never lost consciousness,” one source said.

After a somewhat similar episode in the Pistons’ locker room at halftime of a game last season, Stuckey underwent a battery of tests on his heart. No irregularities were found. At the time, team officials thought Stuckey was simply dehydrated.

They didn't show much on ESPN during the game, but I saw him crouched down by the trainer. Didn't look like a seizure to me, but I'm not a doctor.

Heard his vitals are ok, and he's breathing on his own and conscious, so that's a good thing

I wouldve said the same thing a few days ago, but I just saw a show that was talking about seizures and not all seizures result in shaking. Some seziures are just the person doing nothing and just staring off.

But until the final report comes out as to what happened I'm going to ask a mod to change thread title to something along the lines of "First Reported, Stuckey has seizure" or something along those lines.

I had been going back n forth to the Cavs/Pistons game b/c Detroit was leading the Cavs when it happened. Stuckey was on the bench at the time. Yes, it was scary. My 1st thought was a heart attack. I just hope everything turns out ok for him.

LJ was great down the stretch of that game, and needless to say the Cavs won by 6 or so points.
