think if we could have a lineup of AJ Brandon Dahntay Granger Hibbert with McBob TJ Earl SJones off the bench the whole season. And just kept Murph and Dun out of it... or traded them early. We would be a .500 team. I know it.

(that is the 5 game win streak team)
I'm glad everyone is happy. But I must ask you, you really think if we have the same exact team, same coach, same everything and just take away Murph and Dun, that we would be a .500 team. Really.
5-game win streak team? that was 4 months ago, and several different players are playing including Dun and Murph

Overall I thought the Pacers as a team played pretty well last night. But I look at them as a whole team and take everyone into account.

If O'Brien did change his lineups in any way because of what he heard on his radio show the other night, then my respect for Jim dropped several notches. But I seriously doubt that is what happened

What you are saying is if Jimmy thought about what had been said by the call, and decided maybe there was some validity to playing McBob, you would lose respect for him. I'm really surprised!

Isn't it funny that with the proper players getting some good playing time (in other words development time) that the fans are not stark raving mad at the end of that game?

I mean we still got our @sses handed to us but everybody is ok with it.

If they just continue this out the rest of the year they will go a long way in defusing some of the real anger that is out there.

He ain't lying. Listen for this exchange during the Phoenix game:

Boyle: A.J. Price with the lob pass inside to a streaking McRoberts...
    Slick: OMFG McRoberts!

"OMFG McRoberts!" looks like another t-shirt idea for you, Duke.

It also could turn into a series with either great play highlight shots from each player from your massive archives, or shots of very poor or funny plays that have a whole different color scheme (green tones) and sarcastic intent, with a special edition saying "OMFG Jim " with his picture instead.

Might be too little too late, but we'll see. Wish we'd been doing it all season.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

i don't know about that. I found it tolerable that we weren't going young up until the first of February. After then we knew we weren't going to string together any wins with injuries.

If Murphy, Foster, and Dun were all healthy and we played AJ, McBob, and Solo in their stead I would have a problem of throwing the towel in before the bell started the fight.

Now we have been T.KO.'d and it seems that JOB is trying to throw some punches while we are on the canvas.

The more important question, to the Pacers long-term interests, is whether Obie continues to throw punches from the canvas because that's who he is, or is his corner man screaming at him to keep fighting?

That's about as far as I can torture that metaphor, but I honestly don't know the answer to that question.

By corner man do you mean Bird or other?
