With Solo back, how many minutes for Josh?

Zero...he played good last night. Plus, he's irrelevant unless they're winning.

probably about five. He'll come in with AJ during the "scrub" minutes.

Great poll question as always, Boston Connection.

Until this season I thought Oden had a chance to redeem himself, but after yet another injury I don't think he ever will.

It was basically dogma the year he came into the league that he would be the next David Robinson or better. He was expected to be one of the 50 greatest players.

Now, he'll probably end up as a low end Dikembe Mutumbo at best. I mean, that's not necessarily bad, but this guy was expected to be one of the best ever. He's a nice guy, heck he's a Hoosier, and I feel bad for him, but I still think he'll make good money in the NBA and be one of those guys who will hang around for awhile and help out a team, that is if he can get the injuries under control.

My guess it that Jim addresses his comments in some sort of a pre-game interview (likely pre-taped). IMO, TPTB relayed the ******-storm his comments caused at home, & he will be in spin-control.
I also think Josh gets +/-15 min's tonight. I just can't see JO'B stiffing Josh after his effort, & Jim's own poor choice of words l/n - kinda like a "IOU" / "my bad" make-up call. I think Solo might fair better against Camby defensively, but I think Josh (& Hibby) could do some good things offensively.

Portland brought him in for defense. If they get 2+ blocks a night and 10+ boards for ten years, thats pretty good. Besides Kevin who would you have taken instead?
"I keep wondering the same thing. Last week they had the 4th worst record in the league, had an 11.9 percent chance of winning the lottery and were in line to land a franchise type player like Derrick Favors or DeMarcus Cousins. This week? They have a 1.7 percent chance of winning the lottery, have the 8th worst record and are in line to draft Cole Aldrich or Greg Monroe. Way to go Jim O'Brien. Rest Danny Granger the rest of the season (if it isn't too late) and give Josh McRoberts lots of minutes. That ought to do it." - Chad Ford on winning meaningless games

Way to go Jim, you may have just put our franchise back another 4+ years.

I really thought he was gonna be great and I thought Portland made the right choice. Everyone says you win championships with defense and this guy was viewed as the best defensive prospect since Bill Russell. How would you pass on that?

Too bad his body's about as old as Bill Russell is right now.

I doubt they would even need him, but is Deiner ready to play tonight? I would love to see him come in and perform well, even if it was in garbage minutes (and I'm figuring there will be plenty of those).

What ? I really hope that was a typo. Camby is light in the butt. Hibbert should be able to get a career night against him. Oh well...I'm really not surprised.

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

It's so weird. For a coach that cares so much for the three point shot, he starts two guards that can't hit the three..
