I also put on weight. Fall and holidays can really take a toll, even in LA.

Count me in. What are the rules again?

    I keep saying I'm starting...

I actually did January 1st as a New Years resolution. I never make those, but desperate times...

As of 2 weeks ago, I had lost 11 pounds and was pretty close to my weight of last spring.

Last week I was skiing, so my diet went out the window, but hopefully the exercise kept my weight down. I'll check it after a couple of days.

    rules:

    1) contest starts 1st of March will last for 3 months - final weigh in will be June 1st
    2) the person that lost the highest % of weight will be crowned the biggest loser
    3) they'll have the pride of a better body and we'll figure out some sort of an avatar for them to rock it with joy and a reminder that it can be done
    4) everyone that participates will take the right direction to a better you! so lets get it on!

Well I was put on a diet last week by Mrs geezer. She needs to lose 15 lbs (I told I lose more than that in the bathroom)'

I weighed in at 259 (5 foot 8 inches) that first day

I have weighted 248 the last 3 days...so I dropped some fast and started cheating just tiny bites here and there of bread.

I'm following the Atkins High Protein no carb diet and as long as I do, I barely need take insulin.

I'll go along with you on this but since I have already started, consider me like one of the unregistered runners at a marathon

Sure count me in again. I don't need to lose any more weight, but I'd still like to maintain while training for the mini-marathon in May...

I used to hover around 380 pounds. Today I'm 200 less than that. Trust me, it can be done. A little determination can go a long way.

    Starting at a svelte 260...

Which makes me really eager to work more off because five months ago, I was in the late eighties and early nineties.

Bought some jeans 6 weeks ago that didn't quite fit just so that I would work enough till they did. Wore them this weekend. Booyah.

Quit lying. We all know you buy small jeans to show off your lower back tatt.
