Default Troy to SAC for Cap Relief

Hey guys, I'm new here...so go easy on me haha. I had high hopes for Indy this season, but its clear they were unwarranted...so now its time to get into that cap relief (and hush hush lotto improvement mode)...With the Kings competitive, I ran this trade through the Trade Machine...

Troy Murphy to SAC for Kenny Thomas and Sean May

I'm thinking the Kings could throw in a future 2nd rounder (maybe a lottery protected first) to make it work. That's 11 mil off the books next year which could be used to sign a decent free agent...and lets face it, its also a chance to improve our lotto odds. What do you guys think? Obviously its waay below market value for a 14/9 player like Murph...but a 14/9 making 11 mil? I think its time to full scale rebuild

The Kings themselves are a financially strapped team. They have Jason Thompson up front already who looks like a long term starter. It's unlikely they're going to want to pay Troy Murphy $12M anymore than the Pacers do.

I wouldn't do this, I think we can get better peices for an expiring Murph next year.
