Ok, this is a rotation that I just thought of, I know this probably isnt going to happen and is a little unrealistic, but its just an idea. But I would make a trade first, Bender and Pollard for Dampier. IMO Bender will never reach his full potenial, he sometimes looks lost out there and has been in the league what 5 years? His a turnover machine, and we are still a little full at the SF spot.

    Starting Line up
    Tinsley, Miller, Artest, JO, Dampier
    8 minutes in
    AJ, Jackson, Artest, JO, Dampier
    2nd Quarter
    AJ, Jones, Jackson, Foster, Harrison
    6 minutes
    Tinsley, Jackson, Artest, JO, Dampier

    Halftime

    Starting Line up
    Tinsley, Miller, Artest, JO, Dampier
    8 Minutes in
    Jones, Jackson, Artest, JO, Dampier
    4th Quarter
    AJ, Jones, Jackson, Croshere, Foster
    6 minutes in
    Tinsley, Jones, Artest, JO, Dampier

    Total Minutes
    JO-36, Artest-36, Dampier-30, Tinsley-28, Jackson-26, Jones-22, Foster-18, Miller-16, AJ-14, Croshere-6, Harrison-6

I know that probably wont ever happen but thats the only way I could think of that could get all of the minutes that everybody deserves.

Officially, he's 5'11", so he should definitely work on his PG skills......

    Scooby doo ....

That second quarter lineup is the lineup i keep getting called out for. I see nothign wrong with a lineup of AJ, Fred, Jax, Bender, and Harrison. But apparently, Jax shouldn't play SF

And Jay, I give up. I'll just go average and make him 6'3".
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Freddie is about 6'3 1/2". He has been for a long itme. I stood next to him and talked to him about 10 days ago. I'm 6'0". It was pretty easy to tell that he is NOT 6'2".

OK, that said, I was starting to think about Freddie's role and if he'd have one this year. Remember last year, Freddie hurt his back pretty badly in the summer, and that really affected him in camp, and was probably more than a little bit responsible for his bad shooting at the beginning of last season.

It would make sense for Pacers' management to want to beef up their depth at the No. 2 position because if they hadn't picked up Jackson they be relying on a 39-year old who could be done at any time (due to either injury or ineffectiveness), and Freddie, who just had a pretty serious shoulder surgery and would be spending the summer rehabbing.

So, it's my guess that Freddie will start the season not playing much, then work his way back into the rotation as his health improves (and possibly as Reggie declines). I HOPE they give him minutes at No. 1, because I think he's good there. When they are playing Miami and D Wade is playing the point, Freddie is our only hope of defending him. Tinsley can't do it.

I also hope they aren't looking to trade him because Carlisle is the perfect coach for him.

So you can judge that he's exactly 3.5 inches taller than you, whereas I can't see that he's exactly the same height as I am? Interesting.

No, but I can tell he's more than 2 inches taller than me.

No way Freddie's getting clutch minutes over Jackson AND Reggie.

question: if Fred was the same player, but at 6'5" and not 6'2", would people even MENTION playing him at the point? Im serious.
Probably not, though it's still nice to see if your two-guards can play point in a clutch.

But you can expand that to way more than just Fred. Would people talk about Terry or Francis as points if they were taller? Hell no. But you look at matchups on the floor, and you don't want your short guys getting burned by taller players, so you try and fit them in where you can.

Besides, this whole discussion boils down to "It'd sure be nice if Fred could develop some point skills so he could get more PT." I don't see what your problem with that is.

Yea I know, but I was trying to think of a way to get all three SGs minutes that they deserve.
