I just hope we can come back at least a bit like the Wolves came back against us the other night.

At least John Wall looks sweeter every day.
"I keep wondering the same thing. Last week they had the 4th worst record in the league, had an 11.9 percent chance of winning the lottery and were in line to land a franchise type player like Derrick Favors or DeMarcus Cousins. This week? They have a 1.7 percent chance of winning the lottery, have the 8th worst record and are in line to draft Cole Aldrich or Greg Monroe. Way to go Jim O'Brien. Rest Danny Granger the rest of the season (if it isn't too late) and give Josh McRoberts lots of minutes. That ought to do it." - Chad Ford on winning meaningless games

Way to go Jim, you may have just put our franchise back another 4+ years.

Well Pacers have allowed 140 points now in the last 4 quarters. Looks like its more than just Troy Murphy who struggles on defense on this team.

The hell of it is we are not quite bad enough to get the pick. We are just better than the worst team in the NBA but probably a little bit worse than a vinegar soaked turd.

We need a JR Smith, Nate, Harrington, Crawford, Josh Smith that can come in, be our 2nd option, and explode big time on any given night.

I hate playing 2s at 4s and 1s at 3s. I hate no perimeter D, and I hate that Roy has only touched the ball 6 times.

The talent difference is incredible. You all think Hibbert is good? Please...I would trade him for Lee no question and I would even ponder Gallinari as well.
We've already got Murphy. You really want Murphy and Lee? We think our frontcourt is soft now, wait till opponents get a look at Murphy and Lee under the rim...

About what you expect from a team relying a journeyman backup PG night in and night out, with 5 of your 15 roster spots 6'2 and under (don't let program fool you), only all-star sidelined, 1st round draft pick sidelined, 2nd best player coming off injury and not playing well... I can go on and on.

Hope they show a backbone in the 2nd half b/c it's pretty sad to be a fan right now.

WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT MURPHY? PERSONALLY I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A MULLIGAN AND TAKE THE TEAM BACK TO THE 90S AND START OVER

Hibbert was killing us when he was in. Why they decided to match him up with Lee is beyond me.

This is the same Hibbert I got chastised for saying lets not prematurely anoit Hibbert as the center of the future, b/c he had 3 good games against 3 poor teams. Come to think about it the Knicks are below 500 as well, and Lee is more of a PF than a center.

Now, I will say Lee has been a favorite of mine for the last 3 years. I wanted the Pacers to trade for him 2-3 years ago. He will cost someone a bundle of money this off season.

Please people don't lose it, we have a beastly C, 7th man (Rush), All Star, 6th MOTY candidate (Tyler), a top 5 pick, 35 M coming off the books next year, and probably another top pick.

I applaud your optimism, I just try and hide my pessimism through humor. The problem is that when you take the money off the books it will be hard to attract big time players to Indiana if they are this bad a team.

Murphy is soft. Lee converts And-ones and shoots 60% from the floor inside the paint. That ain't soft.

Positive thinking. Positive thinking. Positive thinking.

Go JOB! Bring us that Top 5 pick for the 2010 NBA draft! The summer of 2011 needs to hurry up and get here.

As a side note, how is Hibbert leading the team in assists? Shouldn't we be feeding him?

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.
