Please remind me again why Obie quit on Boston? Was it because they wanted him to play a different style?
obie's celtic teams had paul pierce, antoine walker, and a bunch of relatively untalented vets that obie took on a couple of playoff runs, including an upset of the isiah thomas-coached pacers to reach the ecf. when ainge stepped in, he started to break up the team, trading off veteran players for short contracts and (low) draft picks. obie resigned in short order, citing "philosophical differences" as dukie said.

i've always wondered why obie took the rebuilding job here, when he wouldn't stomach the one in boston.
