    Default Portland's frontcourt is a little thinner....(trade???)

    http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_ar...after_surgery/

Portland center Joel Przybilla will miss the remainder of the season after injuring his right knee on Tuesday.

Przybilla had surgery Thursday to repair his ruptured right patella tendon.

The Blazers have been hit hard by injuries this season.

They are already without center Greg Oden (left knee), forwards Nicolas Batum (shoulder), Travis Outlaw (left foot) and Rudy Fernandez (back), and rookies Patrick Mills (right foot) and Jeff Pendergraph (hip)
    .

Portland only has 1 player listed over 6'10 that isn't hurt and that's Aldridge. So maybe a possible trade for our big Murphy or Foster but I would much rather keep Jeff..but Murphy can go.......come on Portland......maybe....plsssss..... maybe they'll panic and pull the trigger. As long as we don't get back a horrible contract...

This is all just me hoping and wishing........ Merry Christmas........God bless you all!!!!!!!!!!!

Murphy fills no need for them. Foster could but his injury and recurring problems will likely keep them away.

HEY HEY HEY!!!!!!!!! Murphy is a "protypical stretch forward" everyone could use one of thosej/k

I know it would be hard but maybe Larry can BS them into a trade.......... I just wanna rid the Pacers of Murphy and his huge contract now.

I thought the exact same thing when I heard this news, so I went to trade checker on realgm.com to see what could be possible. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out any move where the salaries matched. Maybe if a third team entered the picture, but even then it's a stretch.
Turn out the lights, this party's over!

The Blazers are already buttery soft. Murphy would make it even worse. They need someone nasty like Hansbrough.

Maybe a three-way with Murphy going to Cleveland, Ilgauskas going to Portland and something coming here?

That's no solution. Still exactly the same problem. Portland isn't going to give up the guys that it would take to match Murphy's contract. And neither team would be willing during the season to trade a bunch of small contracts. We would then have to many players and Portland wouldn't have enough.

TJ, and Solo for Miller, and Outlaw works. It gives them a big man, and a backup PG,and they get 2 healthy players for 1. I'm not sure how long Outlaw is out for with his foot, but his contract is over at the end of this season. This would save the Pacers payroll for the rest of this season and next, but Miller's contract is one year longer then TJ's.

    Check my trade.

No way they send Bayless here now, though. Not the way he's been playing.
"I keep wondering the same thing. Last week they had the 4th worst record in the league, had an 11.9 percent chance of winning the lottery and were in line to land a franchise type player like Derrick Favors or DeMarcus Cousins. This week? They have a 1.7 percent chance of winning the lottery, have the 8th worst record and are in line to draft Cole Aldrich or Greg Monroe. Way to go Jim O'Brien. Rest Danny Granger the rest of the season (if it isn't too late) and give Josh McRoberts lots of minutes. That ought to do it." - Chad Ford on winning meaningless games

Way to go Jim, you may have just put our franchise back another 4+ years.
