    Default heywoode's photos from Pacers-Trailblazers 12/09/09

Well, it was nice to get to our second game of the season. It was nice to have our favorite section seating. It was nice to.....well, that's about it. Didn't really enjoy the game much, and can't really say I enjoy this team much yet. Not gonna get into a big commentary on what I feel are the issues, but I will continue to support the team and show up for games. As long as people continue to like them, I will continue to post game and Pacemate photos from the games I attend...

    ==================

Okay, Haywoode, since you played for the Pacers, we are gonna have to make sure there isn't even a HINT of favoritism. All calls go the Blazers way...Plus, I've got money on this game, and I'm running short on Geritol...

    The Usual Suspects.

You can't really tell, but Roy dumped/squirted a bunch of powder across the table playfully at the guy sitting to the left. The girl is still reacting to it...You can kinda see a little cloud of the powder by the water bottle between the two guys. I thought it was much better than the LeBron/KG clap-cloud crap...

Thought Roy was gonna get off to a good and quick start, but he bricked this shot...

Covered the rim up pretty good on Blake right here though...I still say Roy should always start and get a ton of minutes. If we're gonna be losing 10 of 11 anyway, he and the rest of the youngsters might as well be playing.

Thought this was gonna be a great play, and I was all ready for it. Ford drove baseline, sucked in the D, Roy was cutting, Ford dropped the pass....but Roy's feet seem a bit out of position to me...

...he took the pass fairly well, but just didn't seem prepared to take his 7 foot body up HARD for a thundering jam, like he shoulda been preparing to do...

...and ended up flailing an awkward layup that bricked and made the crowd groan.

Here is the first time (of many) that Aldridge took Murphy to school.

    Here is the second.

Play had been whistled dead already...

...and Roy blew the dunk anyway...

Here comes a schooling again....but wait! Ford drops down to double, and leaves somebody WIDE OPEN on the perimeter...

Didn't get it in the frame, but it was a made basket...

Dukie got hooked up in the suite because of his mad Twitter skillz...I secretly wondered if anyone in the suite had seen a girl naked....he assured me there actually WERE girls present at some point! (Sorry Dukie, couldn't resist! He stopped down to see us for a bit during the game despite my texting him constantly, trying to get him to bring me food down from the suite...)

Since the layup is such a high percentage shot, I wonder why the Pacers don't attempt more of them? Oh right, they like settling for outside jumpers that they knock down at a very efficient 40% clip...

Even Andre Miller couldn't believe how many calls the Blazers were getting...or how easy it was to stay up on the Pacers...

I liked seeing AJ out there competing. Note to Obie: KEEP IT UP.

    This is NOT a foul.

THIS, however, IS a foul....on Murphy.....??

Sorry for the angst in the captions this time, but like I wrote above, it was a tough game to enjoy...Hopefully tomorrow night will be better...

Holy .... that no call on Andre Miller looked bad in real time, but that photo just makes it look so much worse. Wow.

The double team by Ford was alright DJones rotated slow and Hibbert didn't step into the passing lane.
