I think Troy's problem on defense is that he's overplaying on pick and rolls. He almost switches assignments, as opposed to what Foster does (just makes the perimeter player pop out further from the basket) and doesn't return to his guy quick enough, leaving an opening in the rotation that - after a pass or two - eventually results in the basket.

Murphy does absolutely nothing out there.

Brandon Rush, welcome to the doghouse.

Here we go again. Need to maintain some level of resistance with the momentum swinging.

Up ten, Troy checks in, down 2. *sigh* JOB will never learn.

Of the 10 rotation players, Murph has the worst plus minus this season. I just don't get it.

He should be. Troy's lack of defense on Thompson earned Roy another foul. It was clear as a bell.

He did get a nice strip there...but my oh my...how much more damage he causes.

Please, Hibbert caused that foul by himself.

Murphy backed out of the way to give some post ground, as often does happen in post defense.

    A few things:

We continue to be a godsend for guards wanting to have a career night.

Dahntay Jones...I like him, but man, when he gets the ball on offense, you can tell he has no intention of passing it unless he gets into a pickle.

I'd like to see more of Tyler in this game.

Obie staying true to playing to the lineups with Hibbert starting tonight. I can't complain a whole lot.

All of Murphy's misses are short.

How the hell do the Kings have a winning record?

There has to be a stat out there that illustrates just how horrible we are when playing with the lead.

The Sacto announcers LOVE Granger. He is playing well tonight.

Foster looks good for the second straight game.

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

    Foster.

*sigh* Offense is terribad when we just go iso Granger/Jones/TJ. TJ at least looks to pass- Jones and Granger haven't tonight.

Force a 30 foot 3 pointer, don't get back on defense and allow an easy layup: vintage Obie ball.

You know, when we hold the ball at the end of a quarter in order to take the last shot we almost never score.

I'll take Dahntay (with an exception here or there), Foster, and Hansbrough based on the first half. Granger not bad, but a lot of quick shots and turnovers trying to create off the dribble. Roy had a couple good post offense sequences, but the oh the fouls.

Foster's afraid to leave Murphy alone in the paint...for good reason.

Admittedly it's not comfortable for a big to get out there and defend those shots. However, Kellogg commented early on that the midrange jumper is a big part of Thompson's game. So, on the other hand, maybe you've scouted that?

DJ had a good half, but that possession was bonehead on his part.

Are those two always bickering or is it just me?
