    Default Pacer free agent history

I realize Jackson is a sign-and-trade, so I guess it doesn't really count, but have we EVER signed a legit free agent in the past 20 years? Sure, we've resigned our own guys and we've gone out and got some veteran role players, but no one (off the top of my head) that was a big impact player.

    Byron Scott
    Haywoode Workman
    Duane Ferrell
    Rickey Pierce
    Eddie Johnson
    Sam Perkins
    Anthony Johnson
    Kenny Anderson
    etc.

Certainly these players had a niche on the team when we had em... just wondering, am I forgetting anyone?

    Zan Tabak.....

The Pacers aren't exactly the type of team to trade away their team, let their attendance slip, and then rebuild via free agency... never have been, hopefully never will be.

    slight ot, but...

on the signing of s jack, does anyone else see the comparison with byron scott? situations are different of course, but it seems like pacers appreciate jack's championship savvy a lot.
