    Default Marcus Fizer

When Charlotte drafted him, he became an unrestricted FA -- only Chicago is unable to sign him.

Anyone interested in him? He has career averages of 7.8 PPG and 4.4 RPG in 16 minutes per game. He's 25, 6-8, 260. A tweener, sure, but he can play.

Not unless the Pacers make some other major moves. We don't need him with Al, Ron and J.O around.

I guess I assume Al and/or Ron will be moved, making our second/third units a bit thin on the front line.

He is Harrington-lite, with defense subtracted.

If Al were dealt, he might be OK as a bench guy, though he thinks more highly of himself than do the coaches he's played for, apparently.

In this market he may get the 5 million exception, which is far too much IMO for a 7th/8th man
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!).
I'm (maybe) back after being repetedly banned, merely for supporting a different NFL team than do certain forum moderators.

From what I've been seeing, he doesn't even appear on anyone's radar, so I doubt he'll get anyone's full MLE.

    He's had knee problems.

Who ever brings him in it should be for only a 1 or 2 year deal until he proves he's healthy.

He reminds me of a poor mans Boozer.

Atlanta would be a good fit.
