As far as i can tell, at 2:38 currently (Indiana Time) there is no feed active. I'm hoping this is just because the feed begins at 3:00 pm, and not because of some other computer problem I'm having. Is anyone able to see video on there yet?
1. Windows Media Player will not play .asx file associated with the video feed.
Solution 1: Update Windows Media Player by clicking Help/Check for Updates.
Solution 2: Make sure WMP is setup to play .asx files by doing this- go to any file on your computer that you don't need. This could be a word file, a picture, a song, anything. Go up to Tools/Folder Options/View Tab and un-check "Hide Extensions for Known File Types." Now go to that useless file and Right Click it, and re-name it "file.asx" so that it will become an asx file. Then Right Click it, and "Open With" and choose Windows Media Player, and then check the box "always use this program from now on." This will associate the .asx file extension with Windows Media Player.
I've got my laptop hooked up to my TV, and my audio cord from the laptop going into my stereo system. The computer needs to be plugged in as well, and with no outlets available, I had to run the power cord across the room to a different wall.
So, if you were to look at my living room right now, it looks like a damn science experiment or a meth lab or something.
But...in about 10 minutes I will be watching the boys in blue and gold on a 60" Tv screen-turned-computer monitor!
