Your single favorite nba player of all time-- any player, any time, any team, for any reason.

As a 25 year old, I can't really say I have one favorite, but it was Larry Bird who made me a fan of basketball and later helped steer me towards being a die hard Pacers fan (Reggie was a big part of that, too), so I'll say him.

Kobe Bryant..with Manu Ginobili right behind him. *This will probably get me banned..*

I grew up on Reggie and Rik and Mark...so they'll always be favorites, and the Big O, Bird, and Pistol Pete I love, but I didn't grow up really getting to see them play. So if we're talking league wide who I just enjoy watching the most...

    LeBron James

    I'm a huge fan.

    Reggie Miller for sure.

As far as LeBron goes... he's amazing to watch, but he really lost some of my respect during this last season. I thought he acted like a baby when he played against Pacers and also acted like a baby at the end of the season.

    Danny Granger.

It was fun watching a guy blossom into a star and exceed expectations.

I have to say its Danny Granger. I'm 19 so Michael Jordan is who got me interested in basketball. Reggie is who got me into the Pacers though and is very close to being my favorite. But I have become a bigger Pacer fan while Granger is at the helm and am really excited to see where he takes the team.

But seriously, I think my favorite NBA player of all time is a guy I never actually saw.

My first thought is Dr. J, circa the early-70's while with the ABA's
New York Nets. But you said NBA. Hmm.

Ahh what the helll, screw the NBA. As a kid who slept with a
transistor radio on game night's back then so I could listen
to the Pacers and in particular, stay on top of my favorite
    player's stats, I guess I'll name him.

None other than Roger 'Rajah' Brown !

Vinnie Johnson comes to mind (the microwave). I may think of some others.

“People talk about how quiet he [McKey] is, but he’s really been helpful. He gives a lot of insight to players in how to guard certain teams and what their weaknesses are. The whole team listens to him, and it makes my job a lot easier. Having players like him is what pro basketball is all about for me.” —Larry Brown
