Dwight Howard has expressed an interest in becoming a movie star, but it appears the New York Post jumped the gun with a report this weekend that said the Magic big man was set to begin shooting a film in August.
Both the Orlando Magic and Howard's agent called the report "premature." The New York Post reported Saturday that Howard would start filming "Switch" about a white, unathletic high school kid who switches hoops skills with Howard. The report also said Chris Tucker, Snoop Dogg and Kanye West would be in the movie.
Mary Ford, who works with Howard's agent, said Howard is in talks with different studios about the movie, but nothing has been determined, including filming dates and potential co-stars. She called most of the information in the report "inaccurate."
