After reviewing the Cubs' shedule, I noticed that they are five games into a 23-game stretch. TWENTY-THREE games, folks! I don't know about anyone else, but I've never known of any MLB team to go that long w/o a break. Granted, their game today against the Braves is a makeup game from June 16th that was against the ChiSocs and was postponed due to rain, but dang!!! Tack on the 3 games before the MLB All-Star break and the Cubs would have played TWENTY-SIX GAMES with only 1-day off.
Put in perspective, that's 4-days shy of a whole month of non-stop baseball, folks! If this team comes out of this at .500 it will be a miracle!
