Thread: pacers in 2011/2012 season?

  1. #1

    Default pacers in 2011/2012 season?

Besides Granger, Rush, Hibbert who do you think will be a pacer for the 2011/2012 season?
    Name only current players.

    My choices:
Foster-he will finish his career as a pacer
    Dunleavy-- if healthy
    McRoberts

I would initially say Dunleavy. I think Murphy's legs won't last and he won't be as effective as he gets older.

OT....but in my NBA2k9 Association Game that I'm playing with the Pacers lineup, I was forced to trade Dunleavy after the 2009-2010 season ( the 2nd season with me as GM ) after he got p*ssed off at me. I played him Starter minutes for the majority of the season but had to cut his minutes here and there cuz he needed to rest....but for some reason, he demanded a trade. So I moved him for some Expiring Contracts and started clean in the 3rd season.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

Those guys get pissy when you don't play them whatever their roles are. I have played that game a ton, and I always go back to the same group of guys that I target: Dwight Howard (dude seriously makes everything around the basket), Danny Granger (his shot is super smooth), James Jones off my bench, a point guard who has really high ball handling/passing attributes (usually a low cost guy), and other people who have a smooth shot. Great game.

Danny is the absolute shiznit in 2k9. His shot is very easy to time well, he can blow past defenders, his FT shot is also very easy, and can he effin finish at the rim.

His cyberface though... they need a better one for him next year.

I can only see Dunleavy, Rush, Hibbert, Jack and possibly Dunleavy depending on how well his knee responds. Murphy, Tinsley and Ford are all goners.

I cant wait till the 2011 summer
"So, which one of you guys is going to come in second?" - Larry Bird before the 3 point contest. He won.

Dunleavy was holding me down in my rotation....I had to get him minutes. I alienated Rasho so he wouldn't resign with the Pacers.

In my 3rd season as GM, I essentially tore down the entire team with Granger, Nash, BRush, Murphy, Hibbert and Gooden as my vets and the rest of the rotation filled out with Rookie and Sophomore Players and I'm 9 mil under the Cap. I maybe losing....but I get to rebuild my Team from scratch.

That's what I love about Association Mode....I can be the George Steinbrenner of the NBA and no one cares.

Hedley - You said "Dunleavy" twice.

    Outlaw - I like Dunleavy.

Also I think we are going to see most of this movement long before we get to 11/12. I think next summer will feature plenty of changes, or certainly into 10/11. By summer 2011 I think this question will already be something of a moot point.

Troy Murphy will stay because him leaving would put me in a stage of depression.
