    Default pre-draft measurements

I found the draft combine measurements. Some interseting stats. Griffin 6' 10" in shoes, so is Earl Clark.

All of the point guards measured above 6' in shoes. Lawson and Flynn almost the same height. Teague is an inch taller. I don't really want a small point guard. Ford already has that roll. I would not draft a small point guard when we could just keep Ford, if that's they way TPTB want to go. If we go point guard I hope we go for Evans or Maynor. The power forwards are thin, but Hansbrough measured 6'9" with shoes on, maybe we trade for a late for first rounder and take a stab at him.

Wow, Blair was only 6'6.5" in shoes. That's extremely short for a PF. I know everyone likes to point to the success of small PF's lately such as Boozer, Millsap, Landry, etc. Even they are 6'8" and up though.

Austin Daye & Dajuan Summers are dark horses who the Pacers might take at 13.

I wanted to bump this thread up for easier access for myself and others when players are being discussed for referrence purposes.

I find Draft Express' measurement database to be highly useful & convenient:

I like the one you gave. It gives more players stats. Thanx.

True but good lord look at his reach. He almost has a 9 foot reach that is crazy for a player at 6'6"

I know this is old news but for those questioning Blairs ability to guard someone I would like to point out that Hansborough is only .38 seconds faster in the lane agility drill which would take into account Blairs lateral quickness. Blair is just .29 slower than James Johnson. HOwever Blair was faster than Jordan Hill, Milsap, Bass, Chris Bosh, Drew Gooden and Shades favorite Jared Jeffires.

I can't say that those numbers are significant or not but its at least encouraging to see that he may not be as slow as we think laterally.

Not to mention the 7'2 wingspan which is impressive. Flynn has a decent wing span for his height, 3 inches longer than Lawsons which should help in defending passes.
