I'm sure that all of you are avid readers. I'm thinking about starting a book this summer, and my favorite idea so far (because I'm a nerd) is something along the lines of a Robot vs Zombie war.
The basic plot idea is that the robots become self aware (like they will eventually do) and attempt to get rid of the human race, through a virus, this virus backfires on the robots by turning humans into zombies. The zombies then fight back grow intelligent and attempt to regain control of the earth.
My protagonist ideas are now from the point of view of either a Robot, a Zombie, or Human Survivors. The pro of Robots is that it would be an interesting writing style, the con would be it would be basic and robots don't have emotions. The pro of Zombies would be it hasn't really been done, but what would be the true motive for zombies? As for Human Survivors, It's been done sooo many times, I feel like I might be running it into the ground, but it would be a good third person view of the entire situation.
Any ideas? Feedback would be much appreciated.
