    Default Pacer numbers

I thought it might be interesting to see who you guys thought were the best ever in sports to wear Pacers numbers:

1 Jared Jack - possibly Warren Moon?
3 Troy Murphy - Babe Ruth hands down
5 T.J. Ford - my daughter just ahead of Joe DiMaggio
6 Marquis Daniels - wow tough between Russell and Musial
8 Rasho Neserovic - Cal Ripken
9 Maceo Baston - Teddy Ballgame
    11 Jamaal Tinsley - ?
    12 Travis Diener - Staubach
    17 Mike Dunleavy - Hondo?
    23 Stephen Graham - please!
    25 Brandon Rush - ?
32 Josh McRoberts - Jim Brown
    33 Danny Granger - Kareem
    55 Roy Hibbert - ?

I don't know any hockey numbers so they might fit my open spots.

Interesting, Here are a couple, but it's basketball only.

    11 Isiah Thomas?
    33 Bird
6 is always Dr. J to me, he's obviously not better than Russel or Musial, I'm just speaking from the context of me growing up a basketball fan in Indiana, really.

    IMO

I was thinking of Bird over Kareem too, that's a close one.
#33 has had a LOT of great players especially in the NBA (though I admit I don't know much about history things outside of the NBA )

I like your version of #11, I momentarily totally forgot about Isiah...

Zeke is weird to me. He was my most liked college player probably ever. I didn't care for him in the Pros, but I really started disliking him after he semi choked the Pistons trainer and then walked off the court against the Bulls. Then his post playing career was one horrifying incident after another. So basically over a 25 year period he was my favorite player by far to my most disliked person involved with basketball, ever.

11 - Isiah Thomas (remember we're talking about players not GM/coaches' numbers)

    32 - Magic Johnson

    5 - Jalen Rose

    55 - Mt. Mutombo

Larry is not coming back, he didn't have a meeting with Orlando for not reason, yeah he is coming back to the NBA but not to the Pacers, the notion that he is a taking a year off and then come back is absurd.

That is how slow I am, I never put together the Dikembe/Roy/Georgetown thing, nice.
