“People talk about how quiet he [McKey] is, but he’s really been helpful. He gives a lot of insight to players in how to guard certain teams and what their weaknesses are. The whole team listens to him, and it makes my job a lot easier. Having players like him is what pro basketball is all about for me.” —Larry Brown

Down by two with a little under two minutes. About 20 seconds later we were down ten (or something like that).

Could have been worse. The last game Milwaukee closed with something like a 19-2 run.

Just not enough talent and not enough defense. The up tempo game is never going to
    win anything significant.

I think we need to have a long and serious discussion about the possibility of firing O'Brien. If it's financially feasible. When to best do it. If it's worth it or not this season.

My feeling is to let the new coach get his or her feet wet a little during this throw-away season and show us what they're made of next year.

It drives all of us crazy. The Pacers should realize the importance of this game, however, they were just flat tonight. Didn't even try to defend. How disappointing...

This is what you get with young talent - inconsistency, flashes of brilliance, and moments of massive hair-pulling frustration.

That and we lack 3 of our top 6 or 7 in Daniels, Dunleavy, and Foster.

Granted the Bucks lack Bogut and Redd. What's my excuse again?

your right.. a back to back road game right after we beat one of the top teams in the nba. I think we are the only team in the nba to have beaten the magic, celtics, lakers, and cavs. Give me a break we are playing without Dun and Daniels. Thats 30 points right there.

Probably at least after the trade deadline so to make sure the Pacers aren't getting any new guys. Either way, he has to go before next season starts. I do believe we have some good players on this team, JOB's just not lettting them play out their potentials.

Uh - how many points were sitting on the Bucks bench?

Redd, Bogut, and Ridnour is way much more important to their team than Daniels, Dunleavy, and Foster are to the Pacers. No excuses here. We were just flat, especially in the final minutes.

I don't want to criticize the guy anymore, I just want to know what the best course of action would be for replacing him. Even those who aren't as upset with his decisions have called him a temporary coach (he was hired to keep us competitive and in the playoffs, after all), and I'm just wondering if, since this team hasn't improved at all this season (have we gotten worse?), maybe we would be better off pulling the trigger on this change sooner than later. I don't know. I don't blame the guy for all of this team's failings (I mean, I certainly have in the past), but I just am not looking forward to a meaningless second half of the season.
