Cory (Sedona, AZ): Adande mentioned off hand of the Pacers going after Amare... Tell me it's true! We want him gone here, are there peaces in Indiana that us Suns fans would like?

Chad Ford: They and every other team in the league. Amare may be a pain in the butt, but he's a talented pain in the butt. Pacers are one of the few teams that have lots of assets right now. They have expiring contracts, they have a lottery pick, they have young players and they have a few nice role players with decent contracts. They'd be in the running for sure. But so will a lot of teams.

he also mentions the magic having a possibilities of going after tinsley..

IF ONLY AMARE HAD THE MENTALITY OF DANNY......but then again he would not be on the block if he was logical.

My expectations are very low regarding the Pacers getting Amare. However, I would trade any asset we have outside of Granger to get him. I would be nervous about trading Rush or Hibbert but I would probably let them have their pick of one or the other if it was required. That would only be part of the package, of course.

Love the talent, hate the attitude. Read 7 seconds or less. The guy's a loser IMO who happens to have great NBA ability.

Even if we only rent him for 1 1/2 seasons I would do anything except trade Granger to get him.

Tremendous talent, but with the chemistry this team has in place I would not bring him in.

Makes little sense to me and what the Pacers have been trying to accomplish. Rid the lockerroom of prima donnas and now bring one in? No way.

If we really do have a chance of landing a player of Amare's stature, we need to go all-out and make it happen. Bringing in Amare while keeping Granger would give us a pair of All-Stars to build our team around for the next decade.

Every team has at least one. The trick is to just not have more than one. That being said I don't know if a one year rental of Amare would be worth trading what we would have to give up.

Everyone on the roster, including Granger, should be on the market if it means getting Amare in return.

Amare wouldn't ruin the locker room. Plus, he'd instantly be our best player. If the Suns are serious about moving him the Pacers have to be serious about trying to get him.

Is Troy Murphy, Marquis Daniels, Brandon Rush, a first, and 2 seconds enough to get Amare? It works financially.

    No. Nobody wants Murphy's contract.

No. But he could be a great fit for their offense. But it's all a pipe dream more than likely.

Wow. I think if it's a possibility, the Pacers should try to pursue it. Try to keep Danny and Roy, but move whatever else we have to move. That would be crazy.

    Oh man...I can only dream.

It would be nice to land some more talent. ESTABLISHED talent.

    Fill the seats!

He apparently has a bad attitude, maybe a change of scenery could change that.

I'm in the "No" camp. But if it did happen, and we didn't lose Danny or Roy, I wouldn't cry.

The reason I'm in the "yes" camp is because Amare is a tremendous talent, he wouldn't be in a locker room conducive to a lot of whining, and he'd create enough buzz to fill a bunch of seats. This team is losing a lot of money and Amare would be a good fit to bring back a lot of the fans who still aren't convinced the franchise is going to ever be winning again.

I would LOVE to have Amare here , but I would feel VERY VERY uneasy giving up Hibbert .. or Dunleavy ....

As much as I really like Troy , I would trade him,and pretty much any combo of players not named Hibbert/Danny/Mike/TJ .. I'd also use as trade bait a 1st round pick this year and the 2 - 2nd round picks we got off the Williams trade..

I like Rush , and think he will one day be pretty damn good, but I see ALOT more in Hibbert , plus I love the kid ..

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.
