    I think it's safe to say that Bynum is probably going to be an injury prone player for most of his career.

    A center who can't stay on the court for a whole season due to knee injuries...

    Why does that sound familiar?

    Karma? He breaks my man Gerald Wallace's rib (in addition to a collapsed lung) with a cheap shot, and before he can serve his suspension, boom!

    Bynum=Bust

    Lakers will regret giving him that huge deal.

    he is not a bust, nobody spected Kobe to fall on Bynums knee, the same happened last year.

    Considering that it wasn't a particularly cheap shot, and he wasn't going to be suspended, I'd have to say that Karma had nothing to do with this.

    You could see that Kobe was definitely mad at himself on the bench right after he fell on Bynum. Disappointing for the Lakers and Bynum

    Exactly. I don't think enough people understand that a teammate fell onto his knee. There's nothing he could have done to prevent this. Any player in that situation is likely to get injured.

    Bynum is not injury prone. Unlucky? Yes - but not injury prone.

    Rather than debate the fine points of what constitutes a cheap shot, let me just say that I'm ticked off because G. Wallace is one of my favorite players in the league. He brings it every play, every night - which is probably why he'll never play a full season, given that he doesn't know how to downshift every now and then.

    Yeah NOT injury prone. His left knee was perfectly fine after the healing process and then Kobe fell into him. It's not like he was running and his knee fell apart. He just needs to stop being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    Would Shaq, Yao, Oden, Howard, Garnett, Duncan, or Jefferson avoid a torn MCL if a player fell like Kobe did on his knee? Maybe. The knee was not strong enough to withstand that collesion because the knee was not bent. And Bynum's biggest flaw on the block is that he does not ready his body for a rebound like other rebounders. If Bynum did this.....the sky is the limit.

    Yao and Oden always seem to be hurt so for them I would have to answer No.

    Bynum continues to wreck his knees. Yes, it's not his fault with Kobe, but I can think of another 7 footer who had knee issues who many thought was the next KG and now he's living in New Orleans.

    I hope Bynum proves me wrong, but I would be a little concerned if I were a Lakers fan about how much they invested in him and whether or not he'll become the dominant big man they expect.

    Somewhere on a charter bus, Gerald Wallace is smiling

    That's kind of disturbing then...
