    Default heywoode's photos from Pacers-Knicks 1/31/09

This was game #3 of our 6 games from the Black Friday sale...We were bummed that the Pacers lost, despite TJ's career high 36. Baby Al always seems to stick it to us, but can't do that FOR us when he's here...Oh well...

Had a great time, and I got lucky enough to win the Granger autographed jersey during the FedEx fixed truck race. They chose the club level, and the winning seat was 2 rows below me, and two seats over. The people sitting in the four seats including the winner were in the wrong section and couldn't produce the winning ticket. I immediately started lobbying the blonde hottie that I WAS in the right seat and I could produce the correct ticket! She got on the horn and TPTB apparently told her to hook me up, because she came back down and handed it over! Everyone around me was jealous and a bit miffed that they hadn't thought of the idea....So sorry, LOSERS!

    ==============

Knick fans are Knick fans, regardless of environment...

    That is Danny's game face...

    I'm SOOO with ya...

    Obligatory.

Baby Al, the All-Star....against the Pacers...

Foster again cemented to the court, looking for somebody to take that cursed round orange thing from him...

    Ouch...

...but he stuck with it, missed that shot too, but then it got put back and in...

I don't know who TJ was passing to, but it ended up a fast break going the other way...

He more than made up for his couple of turnovers though. I'm posting several layups by TJ because he was the man...

    This.
    Is.
    Awesome.

    Maceo sighting!

    Rasho dunk ball!

He looks like he's twelve. But I like him a lot.

All I could think of the whole game was "SPEEDBAG!"

I don't think Graham was going to let this shot fly...

    NOPE.

The mustache helps keep him balanced and focused.

Jack was kinda hit or miss during this game. Sometimes good, sometimes not.

    Speedbag on the HACK.

But he thought it was a jump ball?!

    And one, mofo!

    And one, mofo!

I thought he was gonna get it, but not quite...

    Definitely fouled.....

...And one, mofo! I love this photo on so many levels. There's alot of different emotions happening in this shot!

Obie noticed the mismatch, and knew what was coming...So did TJ, that's why he was fighting Baby Al so hard...So is this not a foul on Al?!?!

...and the results of the mismatch...

Those shots are why we are moving to section 19 next season...lol

    Q. Why didn't you post at least one shot I took of Jack with your camera???

    A. I know, they sucked.

I'm currently pricing a lense similar to the one you have, too.

In the pic where the dude is holding up the Feisty Foster sign, it took me a couple of minutes to read it because of the two big problems right below the guy holding up the sign.

Ah, Seth. You are truly a man among men. Nice catch.

Yeah, the sign is cool too...

I know what it's like to review photos and think "hmm, there's a nice surprise".

    Sometimes it's even by accident.

    It's called bi-curious.

Of course Bi, as in two, can still be applied to the first photo in question because that's a pair that certainly piqued my curiosity.

BTW, need we point out that this is yet another perk from shooting photos from the club level. You know how tough it is for me to pull a shot like that off with a 200mm lens from row 2? It ain't subtle, I'll tell ya that much.

If you guys think the shot I got of the Foster sign yielded some pleasant surprises, you should see the collection of photos that I took that WEREN'T surprises, but captured by design. Unfortunately, no place to post those around here...

...and thanks, pristine...I was pretty proud of that caption as well...I was looking for the perfect slogan to capture the essence of what it appeared Foster was thinking at that particular moment.

As many photos that heywoode and I take during a game, Flicr would not even hold the best of what we have they are such a stickler for space.
