    Default Rookie Challenge Rosters Announced

These were actually announced on Wednesday, but seeing as how our rookies have been duds, no one here seemed to care. On the bright side, there wasn't anyone drafted after our guys that made the rookie team.

What's with the Assistant Coaches? Was that part of last year's game, too?

It's too early to call them busts, but to say they haven't been disappoints - especially Rush - is living in denial.

I have been somewhat surprised by Hibbert this season- my expectations for him were very, very low and he has seemed to get progressively better as the season goes on. I have and still only see him as peaking as an average to below average starting center or a career 6th or 7th man, but for mid first round, that's not terrible.

Rush has struggled as of late but with Dunleavy back I expected him to ride the pine. I wish he would get more PT, but this organization is trying to win now and that focus usually does not correlate with giving the rookies a lot of PT.

Rush was a 13th pick IIRC. No reason to label him a disappointment at this point.

This actually could be an interesting game. Initially I thought blowout for the sophs until I got thinking about PG - Rose & Westbrook vs Brooks or Stuckey. If the teams run any kind of structure, I think the rooks have a shot because of guard play.

Rush has disappointed. That is clear. JOB is clear about that. He is not a bust. But he has disappointed.

The rookies also have Greg Oden patrolling the middle. Who has been insanely good the last 2 weeks. I don't know how much they've been touting him on Sportscenter or any other TV show, but I've watched the games and he is not the same Greg Oden from earlier this year. He's been a beast.

Looks like the sophs are gonna get spanked. Rookies have too much size and too much talent.

Where is Bayless? Isn't he supposed to be God? If you are gonna call Rush disappointing and possibly a bust.....

Yeah but Bayless has "potential" that is all that matters. I mean if he never amounts to anything, he has that going for him.

if they actually made a game out of this, i'd like to think the rookies would win. they just have more talent (outside of jeff green ;-) ) than the sophs. if dcpacersfan is being honest in his opinion, he needs to realize that when analyzing the overall statistics of the rookie class this year, this has been one of the best rookie classes in years, if not decades, especially regarding depth.
