    Default Going to New York

I'm going to New York for a week next month!

So tell me, aside the obvious ones, what are the must see places, best spots to grab a beer/pick up chicks, good restaurants...plus we're looking for a cheap hostel, I've found some already, but if anyone can advise me one....

I'm also wondering what's the best way of getting tickets for the Knicks game, see http://www.pacersdigest.com/apache2-...ad.php?t=44255
Word on the street is he doesn't want your money, he only wants to please your ears...

Yeah, that's right up Raskol's alley.

I think he should make the pilgrimage to Conseco while he's here in America. **** on NYC, you want to see REAL America, come to the HEARTLAND, BABY!

You gotta stay the same place Bob Dylan stayed in:

I can still hear the sounds of those Methodist bells,
I'd taken the cure and had just gotten through,
Stayin' up for days in the Chelsea Hotel,
Writin' "Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands" for you.

    Sara, Sara,
Wherever we travel we're never apart.
    Sara, oh Sara,
Beautiful lady, so dear to my heart.

Beyond that, I can't help you. I've always stayed with people I knew. What to do?

    Metropolitan Museum of Art
    a Broadway stage show
hang out at midnight at Washington Square, then spend hours drinking coffee on Bleeker or McDougal Streets

And I won't be here to see the day
It all dries up and blows away
I'd hang around just to see
But they never had much use for me
    In Levelland. (James McMurtry)

Definitely next time...it's gonna be just NY now.

Putty, is that the same Chelsea hotel as Leonard Cohen's?

You should just save your money to come to NZ for a SICK trip. WE can go to a rugby game.
