I like how they did this:
I like how they did this:
I have Flash Player 10 installed and it does not work for me.
Just see a message saying Flash 7 or higher needed.
I like the graphic, and yes, we're still in the playoff race. It's going to be a while before you can start calling teams out.
I could see two teams in the top 8 missing the playoffs (Philly & MIL) The reason is the same injuries to key players. Philly might try to trade Andre Miller before the deadline. Wait two weeks and we will see.
That is really cool. And yeah we are definitely still capable of grabbing that eighth spot.
With eight teams vying for the final two spots, I don't see us making much of a run. We are the second to last of those 8 with Toronto only one game back from us. I am a competitive person and I would love for us to make a move to add a player that could get us to the playoffs. I would absolutely love that. But I think I am more interested to know when would LB and company decide to pull the plug. At what point in our season are we looking to let the young guys develop and the expiring contracts rot as our 13-14 players that don't suit up.
There are 33 games left. IMO, we will need 41 wins to get to the eighth seed. That leaves us needing to go 22-11 (67%). There are only six teams that have a winning percentage of 67% or higher. LA, Boston, Cleveland, Orlando, San Antonio, and Denver. We aren't in those teams leagues. Maybe this is over simplification, but I don't see how we have a chance right now. No, 3.5 Games back is not that far. But when you have to jump past five other teams to get there it is a very different 3.5 games.
I hope things change once the deadline passes in two weeks. We have seven games before the deadline. If we don't literally win 6 of 7 (25-31), we can kiss this playoff push goodbye. I am not trying to be pessimistic either, just look at things a little more realistic. I am praying that we are making this push with the intent to trade a couple of our veterans. I AM EXCITED FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS OF TRADING.
Our schedule gets easier. Many of the other teams' gets harder. I've looked game by game at all the schedules involved, and I see NY, CHI and us going down to the wire. The games vs CHI and NY become that much more important, then.
One of the other teams could begin outperforming, of course. It's all guess-timation.
Still, I think the 8th seed can be had with 36 wins.
How that affects all the trading scenarios, I have no idea. I could see us not doing any trades if no one wants Tinsley.
