    Default Trade With Memphis

    Successful Trade Scenario
    Congratulations on a successful trade.

Due to Indiana being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Indiana had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

    Why for Indiana?
We need better backup PG play and Memphis seems to be down on Mike.

    Why for Memphis?
They receive backup for Gay and a good backup PG in Diener. Also Daniels expires at the end of the year so more cap relief for Memphis.

They would probably have to throw in a draft pick in order to make it fair for both sides.

    Any comments?

I would do this trade because Mike is a local and probably wouldn't mind playing in front of hometown fans. He also has the tools to become a good defensive PG.

I am bias on local players and would not mind having Conley on this team. Is it too early for Memphis to give up on Conley? Keep in mind he only played one year of college ball.

Ill pass! Our PG play has been solid. If we're going to move Quis for someone, it should be a PF. I wouldnt mind Warrick from Memphis

I like Conley, but is a back-up PG really our most glaring need?

Conley is NOT THAT GOOD. Memphis is trying to move him over Lowry because they would be able to get a lot more for the lesser player. People will start to realize if Memphis holds onto him longer that the potential he was drafted for is deteriorating and there goes his value.

I would like to second the sentiment about getting Hakim Warrick from them however. I would love to have him. He is a long, athletic, and defensive minded player who will dunk on you. He is fairly good on the offensive end, although that's where he needs the most work, and he is great in transition. That's the type of player that could help our team.

It would be great to get Hakim Warrick indeed but when was he made available?

Of course if we did get Warrick. Odds are pretty damn good that JOB wouldn't play him.

I would rather see something with Warrick and not Conley.

As a #2/3 PG who could leard from TJ & JJ, I do not see the downside on gambeling on MC's upside.
Besides, he would be a nice dangling piece to bring home G.Odem, as he is up the same yr. Dun & Murph are, giving us huge space!
