Default "back" navigation button in web browsers

Why whenever I use the back navigation button in IE or Firefox, does it not allow me to back off of the PD homepage. Both browsers will think about it for asec and then return me to PD. I have to go hit my home button to get to my homepage which is counterintuitive to the way I use browsers. It's annoying, and I've seen several other sites doing this too, like they don't want you to leave their site.

Does your PD bookmark use www.pacersdigest.com , or does it use www.pacersdigest.com/apache2-default/ or possibly more?

If it's just www.pacersdigest.com , then when you first come here, you're actually going to a small web page that automatically sends you to the forum a second or so later. So if that's how you get here, backing from the main PD forum page would take you to the web page that redirects you back here.
