It was close, but we actually won - a pleasant change of pace. We hit a streak there with some heartbreaking losses, and a come-from-behind win should give these guys some confidence before they head out on the road.

    No complaints!

I like the Pacers. I like the coach. I like scoring 120+ points.
And I won't be here to see the day
It all dries up and blows away
I'd hang around just to see
But they never had much use for me

KMart was a force of nature. But Danny had phenomenal swag in the 4th.

TJ didn't suck tonight either, which was a nice change of pace. (I kid...sorta. He played very well tonight anyway. Nice dribble dump-offs.)

The next five on the road will likely make or break the season. Dunleavy may be back at the end of this trip, and it would be nice to be a game or three closer to .500 when he returns.

Ford had a quiet 16 and 7 while shooting a good percentage. Solid game from him.

The thing I liked about this game is that JOB was able to coach his kind of game, but we were also able to make stops when it counted. I don't mind games in the 100's, but we need to make stops when the game is on the line. Tonight we did that and we got the W.

I don't know about that. I mean, I didn't want to complain after a win, so I didn't say anything, but I did feel like the substitutions were a bit erratic.

He made some decent rotations tonight.

I didn't mind having a Ford/Jack backcourt tonight as Jack seemed to be the only one who could slow down Martin. I still would have liked Hibbert to get more time with the way he was playing, but we got the win.

Not near as bad as most nights. This was the 1st game all year long that I didn't mind Jack at SG.

If Kevin Martin had been healthy all year they probably would have a road win by now.

Its a win, I will take it. Two in a row where we win it at the end. Nice to see after we have lost so many at the end.

With 3 1/2 minutes to go in the last 2 games being down 5 in one and 6 in the other and coming out winning is good. Step in the right direction with a 2 game winning streak going.

It was clear that Rush's in-game mistakes have again earned him a spot in O'Brien's dog house. Hopefully, he'll learn from the discipline and bounce back like he did last time. However, I do worry about him more and more these days - maybe it's because I have inflated expectations of the guy (thanks, in part, to some of your exclamations), but I don't see another Danny Granger in him just yet. But then again, Danny was hesitant at times during his rookie campaign too, so I should probably withhold my judgment till 09-10. Thought it was worth mentioning though, because, at 12-21, Rush is going to be one of the players we focus on for the future.

Now, lets see what this team has learned when we play Denver. That's going to be a hard match up for our PG's against Billups. He's big, strong, and has Denver playing well. I don't like the fact we just played BTB with only 1 dayz rest. I'll think positive that JO'B will have them prepared.

Anyone have any thoughts on what we could have done to slow down Kevin Martin? I mean, he was "hot like a pistol" for much of the game, but maybe you coaches out there have some suggestions?

They haven't had Kevin Martin for most of those games.

He's only played like 12 out of the 34 games they have played.

Only thing that woulda worked on him tonight was that thing Kathy Bates did in Misery.

When guys like that don't feel like missing, they don't miss.

Only given him last second shots the whole game.

Right now a win is a win regardless of how ugly it may have been.

I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you.

Seriously, when he gets on a roll like that, you're pretty much SOL unless he gets in foul trouble. He can hit from anywhere and you're better off letting him lob from outside than making him go off the dribble and earn +1 at every move...

He's the real deal. Once Hawes gets back, Martin, Thompson and Hawes may actually get Kings fans excited about their team again.

Have someone other than Stephen Graham guard him? He didn't get red hot until Graham lost him all over the court.

Well, he was already scoring in bunches before that, but it's definitely true that he did a lot of damage against Stephen.

I thought Jack defended him very well at the end.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!
