    Default I Am Thankful...

I just wanted to tell you guys Happy Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for a new team, that is willing to go out and give 110% every night.

I am thankful for the opportunity to support a franchise with a proven history of greatness, and a potential for more.

I am thankful for our coach, for he knows the game inside and out, and never stops thinking about basketball.

I am thankful for Danny Granger, because he never quit last night. Danny because like us fans, he bleeds blue and gold.

Finally, I am thankful for everyone that reads, comments, compliments, and criticizes my words.

    I am truly thankful.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

"So, which one of you guys is going to come in second?" - Larry Bird before the 3 point contest. He won.

I'm thankful that, no matter how the games may end, I know the Pacers have a good chance of winning regardless of who the opponent is.

I'm thankful that the Pacers are playing with an energy that has been missing, and we can look for a good game win or lose.

I am thankful for a entertaining team to watch play each and every night, win or lose... A team that is easy to root for because of the quality of its players character and skill!

I'm thankful for the Pacers of old - Reggie and company all the way through the JO era.

I'm thankful that the Pacers rebuilt themselves with solid players because you all deserve a team you can root for.

And most importantly, I'm thankful Jack is putting up 22.1/4.3/6.6.

    Huh?

Jack is putting up 25.4/8.9/3.3 after 14 games. Where do you get your numbers from?

Jack vs Boston - 30 on 11-18 with 5 boards and 6 assists. Wow.

Ajbry has the 15 game numbers correct and I have no idea who has 25.4/8.9/3.3 going.

I know everyone but Ajbry and I is glad he's gone, but I still wish we could undo that trade. I would want Al gone still but in a different, more cap friendly manner. Oh well. He's one of the few ex-Pacers to continue on or get better after leaving Indy where they were "held back".

I'm thankful to have enough free time that I'm posting here on T'day. Sheesh, I gots ta get a life.

I'm thankful to know at least a few hundred PD regulars still love to follow the team as much as me.

I'm thankful for last summer. I'm thankful the a'hole bandwagon fans haven't figured it out yet which leaves ticket deals out there for those of us who really care.

Oh, and I'm thankful that rats are able to manipulate video recording devices and understand the interwebs.

We have played only 14 games.

Jarrett Jack is averaging 25.4 minutes per game thru 14.
He is also putting up 8.9 pts, 3.3 rbs and 2.9 assists.

No doubt you guys were referring to Stephen Jackson, who plays for Golden State now. Alpolloloco was referring to Jack. Not "Jack."

    A clear case of misunderconfusion.

Oh! I'm thankful Roy is not one of those non-free-throw-hitting big men. I'm thankful there is an apple pie sitting on the kitchen table.

I am thankful for everything, Pacer related or not. At 67 years old, you appreciate a lot.

I am thankful for my beautiful wife, as we just celebrated our 2nd anniversary the 18th.

I am thankful for my 3 children. My son is celebrating his 39th birthday today.

I am thankful for all of my Pacer Digest friends, not only the ones I have met but also the ones I hope to meet.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

The message was sent from beautiful Lake Guntersville, where the temp was 62 today and the fish are biting.

I would rather be the hammer than the nail

I'm very honored that you guys appreciate this thread. Pacers or not, thank you all for sharing. I would really like to keep this thread alive beyond today if possible. It really helps in the lines of getting to know each other in many ways.
I hope you all had a great day, and ate as much as you could without throwing up on a relative...or your pet.

I am thankful you guys are here and I hope to see some new faces at the forum party.

    Most importantly...GO PACERS!!!

Can they really give more than 100%?

    Have a happy pet-peeve free/ cliche-free Thanksgiving?
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

Have you seen that roster. Mullin is getting fired for this mess I think. I mean that upstart team got dismantled faster than a speeding bullet. Great PG situation they have there now as well.

I'm thankful that the Pacers roster is not the Warriors roster.

I'm thankful that when I turn in or attend a Pacers game I can expect to see high quality ball being played again.
