Default Bball's Few Photos From Pacers Vs Hawks

Everyone is so excited about the new look Pacers that even the Pacemates are walking on air:

    Coach Norman Dale:
    "This is YOUR team"

"....What will it take to convince ChicagoJ that TJ Ford can play the point?"

In a tribute to Babe Ruth, Foster points to the spot on the court where he will make his next 3 point basket from:

    Grrrrrrrrranger

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

Wow, the scar that Foster has from shoulder surgery is a big one. That must have been painful.

Yeah, and it's bright red. Opening night I was thinking it was the typical scratch mark that Jeff ends up with but then the next game I realized it was the op scar. I've got a few like that myself and my guess is it looks rough but feels fine now.

I just want to see the Jaws tribute in the Pacers locker room. Who could he compare scars with? I guess Danny has that teeth thing now.

Then someone asks Jeff about some scar on his ankle and he goes into this horrifying story about how he and his "squad" got caught in a nasty bathroom beer fight and ends with "I'll never wear a lifejacket again....or take a Corona into a bathroom with Scott Pollard".

The team sits in deathly silent shock. Then Pollard pops out from the locker room hall, slams the BLR glass like he always does and scares the crap out of him.

(too inside jokey? its really for the BLR people during the Pollard era, plus knowing Shade's contacts)

The scar is something called a "keloid". Some people tend to have a genetic predisposition to healing from cuts, including the overproduction of melanocytes, or pigment forming cells.

Anyways nice pics bball. and nice seats too.

Foster is a tanner and probably exposed his new scar to UV within 6 months of surgery.

From personal experience, if you expose your scar to direct sunlight within 6 months it will turn a permanent bright purple. I have several purple scars since moving to CA. The scars sustained in Indiana (of which there are several as well) blend into my natural skin tone perfectly. It's almost like a timeline of events. You can tell which injuries and surgeries are the new ones and which ones are the old one based solely on color.
