Default Rasho likely back tonight, but Murphy out

    http://www.nba.com/pacers/news/matchups_081112.html

After missing four games with a sprained ankle, Nesterovic is probable to return tonight and with Murphy out, the timing couldn't be better. Nesterovic's size, strength, mid-range shooting touch and passing ability all are were missed in his absence. Josh Boone is not a true center but is very active around the basket and has caused the Pacers problems in the past.

I'm glad he's back so soon. I hope he didn't rush back.

I hope we don't miss Murph too much. He had a good game against the Nets. Some of his transition threes were big. Hopefully Rasho can at least make up the boards.

Is Devin Harris still out? If so, I think the Pacers can handle them again. If not, it's going to be more difficult.

Either way, I'm definitely glad Rasho will be back. He played very well during the preseason and early games.

Larry is not coming back, he didn't have a meeting with Orlando for not reason, yeah he is coming back to the NBA but not to the Pacers, the notion that he is a taking a year off and then come back is absurd.

Damn it, I'm actually disappointed we won't be seeing Murph tonight. He's been rebounding well and showing good overall effort for us on both ends. Without him, we're going to have to go to small-ball schemes, which I'm not particularly fond of since we sacrifice size and rebounding.

I'm glad Rasho's back though, at least that's a bright part of everything.

He's missed the last two I guess. I think he's day to day and may miss this one too.

Lawrence Frank said there's "a pretty good chance" Harris will miss the game on Wednesday as well.

Well should be able to win this one without either of them, but it's nice to have Rasho back.

I'm actually concerned that the offense will sputter without Murph spacing the floor. The nets should just pack the paint and force Quis, Foster, Ford, Rasho and even Granger to beat them from outside. If the jumpers don't fall, penetration will be difficult.

    Good.

That's what folks will do to us all year long. Might as well figure it out now.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

So does this mean that McRoberts gets the start for his hustle the other night?

And already what they've done to us. Our success penetrating depends on our outside shooting, until we get someone even for spot minutes who can use the low post.

Everybody's got a weakness, that is clearly ours.
