    Default NBA.com writeup on Granger

Just goes to show the tendency many have to over-analyze things. The knee thing was way overblown. The biggest surprise, if I remember, was the Clippers taking Korolev instead of Granger, or Green. Many say that Bird taking Granger was a no brainer pick since he fell into his lap. But there were alot of laps Danny fell into who didn't take him. So, kudos to the Big LB.

I thought the biggest surprise was Vasquez. IIRC, he'd basically said he wasn't coming.

"...afterward, Granger said that he had started feeling the spasms at shootaround in the morning and his knee is still perfectly fine. So, there's no Eastern Conference Insider jinx, and Granger expects to play Friday in Indianapolis against the Sixers."

Spasms in the leg probably would hurt a little bit. Granger is a pretty durable guy, and I think that's the type of leader a team needs.

I still remember RON Artest saying over and over again how special granger is and how he would be a allstar in just a few years.

Nice article on Granger. There's always a diamond or two to be found that slips every year. Fortunately for the Pacers, Granger was our guy and we're not turning back anytime soon.
