It's good to see Arizona get on TV, but against the awful Niners?

I could see this game turning into a shootout..or Arizona just blows the Niners out. One of the two.

For what looked to be a complete yawn, it turned out to be good TV.

The Cards tried to lose as hard as they possibly could, and Jaws tried to make Kurt Warner into some hybrid of Montana, Namath, Unitas, Marino, Elway, Brady, and Manning with every breath.

The Niners really should have won this game, a few times, but that's something a young team has to learn. And Singletary is still trying to get his feet under him as head coach, but I have to say I love the guy. Whenever Dungy retires, this is the guy we need to hire. He knows how the game is supposed to be played, and certainly has the mind and passion to be a successful coach.

And I think it's great that he can be so candid on the sideline and in press conferences without being offensive.

Kornheiser tried to tell us that Arizona is a legit...maybe not contender...but threat to beat one of the upper tier teams. Maybe, if that team is having an off day. I don't see any real contender (NYG, NE, TN, Indy, even MN or GB) losing to these guys. They're a team worthy of a wild card, but in a division where no one else deserves to be called football teams.

As much as I hate the MNF commentary, Jaws was on to something. Obviously Warner isn't Montana, Unitas, etc, but he is putting up an MVP season. If the Cards can pull out wins the next couple of weeks against the NFC East teams they are playing, I could legitimately see Warner getting some MVP votes. He is playing some of his best football since 2001.
