Default the time is NOW to trade for louis williams...

sure, we have ford, but louis williams will become a top 5 nba pg in the next 2-3years depending on when his gets his minutes. this trade would never happen, but i'd do it in a heartbeat...

    pacers trade -
    danny granger
    jarrett jack
    rasho nesterovic
    future 1st rd draft pick

pacers could also trade (more likely to be accepted) -
    danny granger
    tj ford
    maceo baston
    future 1st rd draft pick

    76ers trade -
    louis williams
    thad young
    marreese speights
    reggie evans

    Successful Trade Scenario
    Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Indiana and Philadelphia being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Indiana and Philadelphia had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Are you sure you'd want to throw in that future 1st? We're not getting your franchise player in that deal.

I do like Williams, Speights, and Young but I don't think you're going to find an even deal between these two teams. Either the Pacers will have to give up too much or the Sixers will have to give up too much.

It still doesn't add any franchise players and you'll still be proposing deals and clamoring for tanking. I don't think Williams will be a top 5 pg in the league. He can score but there are other parts of the game (defense, passing, etc.)

I'd probably do a Dunleavy package for Lou, but definitely not Danny. He's our franchise guy and our best player, and Williams is going to be a nice player, but never a cornerstone guy like Granger.

uhh, Danny Ganger is going nowhere. No way the pacers trade him at this point in his career. He is a model citizen on a team that desperately needs a face like his for the franchise and not to mention, he's also our best player at this point.

granger being our "best player" is very questionable. dunleavy imo had the better season last year, and a healthy tj ford gives granger plenty of competition for that label as well...

this trade would give the players young, promising players at every position to build around. williams at pg; rush at sg; dunleavy/young at sf; speights at pf; hibbert at c. nobody truly knows how good williams will end up becoming. louis was mcdonald's high school player of the year coming out of high school and every chance he's been given, he's put up very solid numbers - very similar to monta ellis but with a better long range game and better feel for the basket. thad young imo has more potential than granger. young might even have the most potential on the entire 76ers roster. so why would the 76ers do this deal? to win now. why for the pacers? to fill a hole at every position and with young, VERY promising talent. i actually believe such a deal would make the pacers a better team sooner rather than later...

again, there is a 0% chance this deal ever were to happen because the 76ers are too infatuated with williams and young, and the pacers for some strange reason believe granger is this untradeable superstar.

I don't think Larry is as enamored with "potential" as Donnie Walsh was. No way he does this deal.

getting rid of granger would be the ONLY way we'd get 2 of williams, young, speights, back in return. believe it or not, there are more talented players in the league than granger. and this idea would give us the post presence we lack.

    Philly wouldn't do that deal.

Adding Granger's upcoming extension to what Dalembert, Iggy and Brand already make is just too much money.

I would never do this deal
