Three games! Three! Oh no! Sky! Falling! Cry! Scary! Mommy!

I'm not saying they don't have problems...They have plenty and I doubt they'll be winning any titles. But they lost to two good teams at home and lost by one on the road.

In their next seven games, they have Miami, NYK, Mil, Houston, Sacto, LAC and Denver.

If they're not 5-5 after that, I'll pay for your next escort.

"Mayor of Akron?" he said. "I'm already mayor of Akron. I've been that for about 10 years now."

It was a frustrating night for Toronto’s Jermaine O’Neal, who shot 3-for-10 and finished with eight points.

“I knew it was going to be a process but I didn’t know I was going to be four games in and still looking for my rhythm,” O’Neal said. “You want to do well, you want to dominate at your position, it just really hasn’t worked out for me yet.”

O’Neal was called for a technical foul after ripping his headband off while arguing a non-call in the third.

    Wow, this is surprising...

One loss that I blame directly on JO, too.

Kwame Brown had hum frustrated all night...it was kinda comical.

The more I watch Kwame play, the more I like his game. As long as he doesn't have his back to the basket he's a quality basketball player.

I can't wait to see how this team does with a dominant scorer. We've looked really good without one...

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Thanks for the heads up from someone who saw the game. Ya, I saw the score and thought, wow AI blended right in and they won against a decent team, then I went to the box score and saw, no AI. JO has always made sound defensive bigmen frustrate him, imo. Nesto did it to him last year. Kwame had the curse fo being the 1st overall pick. He's finally to a point in his career where he can be a solid big and that's good enough. I am really interesting to see how this works for Detroit. You think AI and it's pretty much the opposite type of style that you would associate with Detroit. We'll see. He sounded sincere and willing to sacrafice for the better of the team in his presser.

I am so Thankful that JO is gone, no matter what. I can't stand when a player talks about dominating his position after sucking and his team lost. How about just saying I need to play better and we'll continue to work together to get better. JO, I think, will have to come to the realization that his days of "dominating" are over, he needs to just step back and do the little things to win instead, then the rest will fall into place.

Random thought...the Pistons are the highest scoring team (3rd overall) in the east right now. They have yet to be held under 100 points.

Michael Curry's system is different, to be sure.

Kwame always gave JO fits...even when JO was healthy and at the top of his game. JO always had trouble with guys who could get to his shot. The other oddball that JO struggled against, believe it or not, was Darko Milicic.

From what I have read about Kwame when he was with the Lakers....he's just a very solid Big Man defender with hands of stone that can provide some decent rebounding and shotblocking. I'm not surprised that he caused JONeal some fits.
Ash from Army of Darkness: Good...Bad...I'm the guy with the gun.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

    Nov. 6 - 8:27 pm et

Lebron James rolled his left ankle on Wednesday, but is reportedly doing fine and will play Friday against the Pacers.
Not that we were worried at all, but when King James stubs his toe it's national news. Expect a big game from him against the run-and-gun Pacers

Philly at Orlando on TNT....Philly does not look like the contender some have expected them to be. Pretty disorganized.

    98-88 Orlando final.

It was a satirical piece. They do them every month or so, I recall one from last year about Jack 'saying' that he thought Kobe and Nash were scrubs.

The Al Harrington saga in Golden State heats up.

    http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archiv...feud_heats_up/

Al is now being pursued by the Knicks. I guess they need another member to add to their dysfunctional family. What is DW thinking over there? Now I really do realize why the call him "Baby Al."

    http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archiv...rs_seek_curry/

Possbile scenerios: a 3 way deal that would involve sending Harrington to NY, Eddy Curry to the Spurs, (how desperate does that make SA seem?) and David Lee to GS.

I did, I didn't expect Roy to hit that last shot, but I thought he had the help of a slow clock start. He only had .8 to get the shot off, and I would say a full second went by.

It reminded me of the Pacers game against Orlando where the lead was traded back and forth until Smits hit the winner.

I read that and it's not really feasible for San Antonio. They haven't got any salary's to match Curry's that they would want to trade.

That article also said Golden State wanted David Lee for Harrington. The only thing wrong with that is it won't work. Lee makes less than $2m and Harrington makes $9m.

Stories like this are why I advocate hardcore fans having ESPN's Trade Machine in their favorites. Then they can go there and compare salaries themselves. When you do that you know right off when someones throwing fairy dust into the air to fill his column.
