Interesting that NBA League pass has Bobcats vs cavs on two channels - one cavs broadcast and one cats broadcast.

and typically Brown's team looks terrible in November

Where is that post? The Kidd thing. I haven't thought of that for some time. MrSparko (and others) should read it.

    Ooh ooh ooh....found it:

Brooks all the way to the hoop from a dead stop near half-court. I am not on the Mavs bandwagon.

I like the Rockets this year. It's gonna be fun watching them all season. Hopefully they can stay healthy.

Peja goes down again, and it's a shame because he was playing well tonight. Looks like he twisted his ankle. Posey is coming up big in his absence. It's coming down to it in Phoenix.

Did you see that block Jermaine O'Neal had against Brandan Wright? That was beautiful.

Of all the young talent at Portland the best may end up being Nicolas Batum he's 19yoa from France and was the 25th pick 2008. I just watched the first half of Port vs Spurs and this kid was outplaying everyone. A couple Kobe like moves (yes I said that) blocked Duncan cold at the hoop, drove the lane from mid court picked up a 3pt play. This kid has got game.

I'm really impressed with Batum also.

Portland might actually have three players on the all-rookie team this year, and that's not even including bayliss.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

    Game 1 - Hawks
    Game 2 - Griz

Both losses...Orlando made a big leap to 52 wins last year, you have to wonder how real that was.

Batum looked really smooth tonight. He's an interesting player to watch.

Batum was projected in top 10, even pretty late in the game. He dropped for several reasons, including a supposed heart problem.

He definitely doesn't look like a 9 year old. He's also a bit wider than I expected. I'd take him.

Bayless earned his first DNP - CD.

On the other hand, you have O'Brien saying 25 min a game is the least Brandon will play, he's the teams best perimeter defender, and that he'll play a big role in what we do this year.

    I love it.

I hope Shade isn't paying attention...

It's good that BRush is getting an opportunity to play some minutes early on. If not anything, it's helping him build character.

I noticed that in the game that Bayless did play in, he played only 15 minutes and went 1-5. On the other hand Rush played 24 minutes and went 3-5 and actually had an assist.

and the Pacers are thinking, "Yeah, we hear you need a PG, and we've got one that only been used to drive to the grocery once a week and to church every Sunday for the last five years."

that's the only way it happens from the Pacer side, and it's not gonna happen from the Warrior side

I already stated a few times that I don't expect Bayless to get much run this year, so this really doesn't surprise me.

I also hope that Rush turns out to be a better player than Bayless; I really do. But I'm not betting the farm on it.

Btw, MagicRat, your avatar disappoints me. The Kool-Aid should be blue with gold ice cubes.
