Thread: Denari hints @ Pacers in HD

Default Denari hints @ Pacers in HD

Ok, so I am PRETTY sure this hasn't been posted, but during the game tonight Chris said to stay tuned in the coming weeks about a special announcement dealing with some Pacer games being broadcast on FSIN in HD including the season opener against Detroit. Anyone else hear this or have any other info? Again, sorry if it's posted in the game thread or somewhere else...

I'm excited. I just got HD service here and just got my first HDTV about a month ago.

There will be an announcement, that is what I said in a few other threads. This is what I was talking about. Yes, I am pretty sure this is about the availability of broadcasts in high definition.

That could be true (renting equip). They'd probably bring in an HD truck for select games if they aren't prepared to go "all HD, all the time".

Hard work and friends that move overseas and can't afford to move their stuff. So they sell their TV and buy a new one when they are moved. :P

As long as we're having a pissing contest, I'll be enjoying Pacers in HD on a 65" Mitsubishi DLP that I got an incredible deal on almost a year and a half ago. Watching NBA games in HD makes it really hard to watch the Pacers in Standard def., especially when I get the choice of letterboxes, or having it stretch the screen a bit.

My 50" Samsung Plasma wins this pissing contest.

Well my 19" Motorola gets an exceptional picture and cost $59.00. It is especially nice just after I add fresh aluminum foil to the rabbit ears. And even better if the wind is out of the west with a moderately thick cloud cover.

I'm not a fan of plasma or DLP. I like my 40" Samsung LCD.

I've got two 42" Olevia's HD sitting side by side. I use one as a monitor for my computer. That way I can watch the game on one and see the box score on the other.

    I can vouch for that.

Can we change the thread title to "Pacer games might be in HD this year, what kind of TV will you watch it on?"

Denari just confirmed that the November 1st game against the Celtics will be in HD.

Can't wait to see us get our asses kicked in crystal clear video.

We're changing the identity of our basketball team -- dramatically. We're a power post team -- a blood-and-guts, old-school, smash-mouth team that plays with size, strength, speed and athleticism. We attack the basket. . . . This is the new identity of our team. It was a great effort. I'm very proud of our guys."

I kidnap the players and make them play in a custom-manufactured gym for my amusement.

    Beat that.
