Default Question for League Pass subscribers.

First of all, as of 20 minutes ago I'm a member of the club

However, there's been some screwy things said.

First of all, the lady on the phone was reading off the information she was pulling up, and she said it kicks in on November 30th, when the season starts.

I'm sure that's just a BS screw up, and I'll get it when I'm supposed to, but it makes me wonder.....

That aside, I had a question for you. Especially if you first subscribed in the past 2-3 years. This only applies to those of you that ordered at least a few weeks before the regular season started.

When you did, did you get to watch NBATV right off the bat, or did they make you wait until the season started?

She told me I had to wait, and that kinda pissed me off since we've held up our end of the deal by paying, and I know NBATV is a year-round channel. I think I deserve to have it now.

So my question is did you get to watch NBATV as soon as you were done ordering (or within like a day or so), or did you have to wait for the season to start and the rest of LP to kick in?

And are you on Dish or DirecTV? I'm on Dish.

I just checked now, and still can't watch NBATV

Looking like I have to wait another 2 months.

If you were on DirecTV, then you could also get NBA-TV by subscribing to all the regional sports networks, which would be a temporary fix to your problem.

Can't speak for Dish Net, but I'd call back and talk to a manager - it seems to me that should've begun immediately.

But just like there's really nothing to talk about here during August and September (unless we, say, fire our coach again right before training camp), you aren't really missing anything there, either...

EDIT - oh, and welcome to the club. You'll never want to be without LP ever again.

Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

Yeah, there's a similar option here, but I'm not gonna put down the money just for that.

I think so too, and I might do some digging to see if I can't get it, but it's not a huge deal, so I may let it go. Now, if on November 2nd, I don't have it or LP, THEN i'll start a little bit of hell raising.

True. I was mostly wanting to watch more classic games, and whatever other features they run; I like that stuff.

EDIT - oh, and welcome to the club. You'll never want to be without LP ever again.

Price went up; it's now 170 for early bird, 190 for regular.

I got NBATV on Dish Net without getting NBA League Pass. I also get every Fox Sports channel in the U.S.A. They all came together in a package.

I hate NBATV during the offseason. They show EBC games that really, really, suck. They also show WNBA games, and then they will show classic games. It does very little for me. It's during the season when they show games and report rumors that it rocks.

How much does League Pass cost? I want to get it, but I'm not sure if I can afford it.

LP is $169 now until before the season starts, and once it's started, $189

its like a drug. No matter how much they raise the price, you're still going to be willing to pay it.

    Trust us on that one.

I am not sure about how Dish works but I get NBA TV year round on Direct TV. Of course I have a standing renewal for League pass. I dont know if that has anything to do with it or not.

But you should be able to call them and bug them into giving you NBA tv now since you have signed up for the league pass.

Edit----->Jay I am with you on that one. I dont know where my price point would be. But so far I still think it is a bargain. Only 170 a year to watch every single game I want.
