    Default Colts sign another QB?

    Sorry I can't find a link anywhere.

I'm in the middle of watching the Cubs/Mets game on ESPN and I thought I saw it flash on the bottomline that the Colts signed QB David Greene

If I'm not mistaken he played for Georgia a few years back.

Not the biggest, nor an important signing, but I was curious if there was any truth to it?

I do not have access to Colts Practice but this signing makes me believe Sorgi or Manning or both are not 100% He will be cut or signed to the practice squad after the bye week.

How is he at stopping the run?

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

He was a hell of a QB in college here at Georgia. I thought he would do well in the NFL, but he never really improved after getting into the NFL. Very accurate short and mid range passer but a suspect deep ball. I wouldn't expect him to stick long...he has bounced around the league since being drafted back in 05.

On a side note, the Colts now have the two winningest QBs in Division I college FB history. Manning has 39 and Greene has 42.

IIRC he has pretty good size - maybe they're planning on making him a LB?
