I'll take Mike Miller and assume Rodney Carney will take his minutes. EDIT: No, he's just not old enough for my squad. I'll take Hedo Turkoglu instead.

MR, I don't care how many times the PD award has been won, you are still the funniest guy on here.

That, combined with your avatar, which I vividly remember the post that I think that came from, about made me spit my drink out, and I appreciate the laugh.

Are we really allowed to draft someone like Pargo who won't even be playing in the NBA this year?

Mesilla takes Mehmet Okur. If I'd known we'd gotten this far I'd have gotten up when I woke up in the middle of the night.

So I guess the question is: when does Lone Granger jump on Stanko?

    That's 88, right?

So now it's Newman at 89 and then me twice?

    Cool.

At 90, Mount Vesuvius takes TJ Ford.

At 91, Mount Vesuvus takes Rajon Rondo.

Is there a reason TJ Ford wasn't picked in like the 60s or can I just not read the stat sheet? Or was he already taken and it wasn't written down correctly?

The reason was I took Gordon instead. It was down to the two of them & it looks like I feel for the hype.

Glad to hear. Given his good career stats plus being handed the Pacers starting PG spot without much competition, I just figured a Pacers Digest draft would overrate him if anything...Not let a 1.1 FPPM guy slip to pick 90. I almost took him over Biedrins but gave AB the edge due to the whole not having a congenital spine disorder factor.

people are drafting more on hype than anything. I am not use to this type of league (yahoo league). But I am betting this is the way it goes.

    If I would've had a pick in the 60's I would've taken him.......

    See: Spinal issues

At least I'd decided he wouldn't be a critical part of my team for that reason. Same w/JO being picked where he was I imagine.

Dang it - I almost took him instead of Okur at 86. Thought folks look for frontcourt enough that there was a better chance of Rondo lasting until my next pick.

I think there's a solid chance he puts up some really big numbers.

Yeah...only big drawback. If he's healthy, he's putting up numbers though.

I thought the same thing as I really wanted another guy too and was trying to talk myself into the fact that he might be entirely overlooked for a while...but I couldn't pass up on a 22-year-old who might already be the best rebounding point guard in the NBA and also has the ability to maybe lead the League in steals one day (was 8th this year...though CP3 would probably have to die in a train wreck first).

It'll be tough to pull off on this current Big Three incarnation, but I can easilly see him putting up a line of 16 ppg, 8 apg, 6 rpg and 2 spg within five years.

Wish you'd been more convincing to yourself. I can tell you, he wouldn't have made it past 95.
