Default Miami And Chicago Discussed Deal Involving Gordon, Marion

The Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls had recent trade discussions that included Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks for Ben Gordon, Larry Hughes and Joakim Noah, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Gordon is an unsigned restricted free agent, and Noah was only a possibilty in the deal.

The talks have died over the last week or so, and right now, they don't appear to have rekindled.

Damn...Marion is one of my favorite players. Didnt Bird contact Riley regarding Marion in the beginning of the offseason? I would love Marion in Indy. Perfect PF under JOBs system. His price tag is costly though

I would love to see Noah in Miami, actually just out of Chicago.

I've got Aaron Gray in one of my keeper leagues & I'm hoping he plays like he did the last game of the season... 35 minutes 19 points 22 boards

Why on earth would Miami do that? Ben Gordon's not the guy they need.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

good thing for Miami this deal has just been discussed and is already dead. what's the point of adding two "overpaid"(Gordon remains a question mark though) players that play the 2 where they already have one of the best in Wade and have proved not being comfortable or just good at the one: basically Miami would trade a huge expiring who has great talent and one of their fews PGs for 2 players they don't really need. As for Noah, no comment.

My guess is they'd start Wade at the 1 in this case.

This trade is so one-sided it's not even funny.
