Al Jeff is a great pick. Sorry for my hold up. I checked before I went out for the night and once I got on the computer I drafted. Bosh is gonzo.

Jefferson is, like someothers noted, indeed a good pick in my opinion.

He's efficient, young, doesn't miss a lot of games, is the focal point of the T-Wolves offense and fills that very important FC slot. It's pretty much a no-brainer at where he went in your league.

I had Jefferson rated 4th on my list. Two-position player who's young and puts up monster numbers? Best fantasy player for a Keeper League not named James, Howard or Paul IMO. If he was just a forward I might have dropped him a little but not far.

On the flipside, anyone who's seen Boston or Minnesota play knows the kid's got a long way to go before he's even on Dwight Howard's level, not to mention Paul or LeBronze.

OK, so while he puts up solid numbers, does no one else see Zach Randolph 2.0? Young big guy that puts up twenty-ten on terrible teams, is out of shape and plays little/no D, and then fades as the team gets better?

Unlike Zach, he's a good character guy by all accounts.

I liked this too. There aren't a lot of 23-year-old 20/10 guys talking like that.

    http://www.nba.com/timberwolves/news...on_080908.html

MT: Before last season you spoke about wanting to show people what you could do as the focal point of the team, and 20 and 10 was the result. What's on tap this time around?

Jefferson: It's trying to be a well-rounded player. I know I can go out and get 20 and 10, but this year I want to be more of a leader - a better leader. Plus, I want to be a better defensive player, and that's been a main focus this (offseason). I know I can score and rebound, but now we have some help with scoring in Mike Miller and rebounding with Kevin Love, so this year I want to lead this team and try to get to the playoffs. I really believe we have a great chance to fight for the playoffs, and that's something we want to do.

MT: What specifically have you been working on this offseason?
Jefferson: Honestly, I've been working on my left hand a lot, and I'm feeling a lot more comfortable with it. I've also been working on my jump shot, and then just doing everything I normally work on a lot better. The other thing is conditioning wise, I think that can help me a lot especially defensively.

MT: It was your first time playing all 82 games last season, and you had to work pretty hard battling double-teams as the focal point of Minnesota's offense. Towards March, it looked like you were fatiguing a bit?

Jefferson: That's right, it was my first year playing 82, and I was excited about that. And I know what to expect for (this season). There were times that I couldn't make the extra effort defensively, but it was because I was tired. I feel like if I'm in better shape, I'll be able to make (the effort).
But the center eligibility is what solidified it for me. It's the hardest spot to find a beast at. Guys like Granger, Deng and Josh Howard all crop up every year at G/F but having a really young yet fairly proven 1.10+ FPPM guy at center for the next decade sounds pretty good.

On the draft page it says I got Marion and Billups. Then when I go to the rosters page it says I have Marion and David West.

    Which one is it?

I have a question - and it may hold us up.

I want to draft Josh Smith. Where did he go? He was there yesterday.

Anyway, he's my pick at #22. James, when you find him, if I'm not on, plug him in for me so we can move on.

On the rosters page it says Josh Smith is on the Indianapolis Magic Rats, along with Yao. Then on the draft page it says Indianapolis has Yao and Pau Gasol.

Same problem here with my team...

He's listed as a G/F for some reason. And also, you suck. I was hoping everyone wouldn't see him and I could grab him next.

I like Al Jeff in fantasy and reality. Is that so bad?

I just PM'd MR - Gasol is still listed as available to draft. If he wanted Gasol, I'll draft him and trade him to MR. If he wanted Smith I'll just figure out who I want and keep on keepin' on.

Hopefully MR will get back to me pretty soon so I don't hold up things too long.

What about the Billups/West mix-up? I think we need Jose to fix this one, DK.

Jose doesn't run the software for the site. He can't fix it.

I had Josh Smith higher, so I don't know what happened there. If he was still legally available I'd like to have him......

I think you do - Gasol's still available to draft and Smith is on your roster page.

Well, people got who they want, but others drafting won't know who's available if they only look at who's been drafted.

I think we're OK if DK wants Gasol.

I had them both in my list and they are both gone from my list. You may want to contact them just so we don't have these sorts of problems going forward.
